Der künstlich angelegte Brunnen liegt am Fuß der breiten Freitreppe, die zur barocken Salvatorkirche führt, und bildet zusammen mit der historischen Architektur der Kirche ein stimmiges Ensemble. Die Brunnenfigur trägt den Namen „Steinerne Schöne“ und wurde 1994 vom Bildhauer Ullrich Holland aus Sandstein gestaltet.

The man-made fountain is located at the foot of the wide flight of steps leading up to the Baroque Church of St. Salvator, and together with the church’s historic architecture, it forms a harmonious ensemble. The fountain’s figure is known as the “Stone Beauty” and was sculpted from sandstone in 1994 by the artist Ullrich Holland.
