Der Fußballplatz liegt ca. 1,5 km vom Ortsrand entfernt auf einer Anhöhe im Wald. Der Platz ist eingezäunt und kann nur bei Fußballspielen besucht werden. Neben dem Platz befindet sich eine großzügige Parkfläche sowie das Sportheim des VfR Sulzthal. Einige Brotzeitgarnituren sowie ein frei zugänglicher Bolzplatz laden zu einer Rast oder zum toben während einer Wanderung auf dem Fränkischen Saale-Weingenussweg ein.

The soccer field is located about 1.5 km from the outskirts of town on a hill in the forest. The field is fenced in and can only be visited during soccer games. Next to the field is a large parking area and the VfR Sulzthal sports clubhouse. A few snack bars and a freely accessible soccer field invite you to take a break or let off steam during a hike on the Franconian Saale Wine Trail.
