Dingsleben is a municipality in the district of Hildburghausen in the Franconian-influenced south of the Free State of Thuringia. It belongs to the administrative community Feldstein. The administrative seat is in the town of Themar.

Dingsleben (440m über NN), ein typisches Straßendorf mit 264 Einwohnern, liegt in einem tiefmuldigen Einschnitt des Bernharder Kalkplateaus, am Fuße des Kleinen Gleichberges (641 m über NN) und des Obendorfer und Bernharder Berges. Über den biotopartigen Quellpfad nimmt der Zeilbach (auch Mühlbach) seinen Anfang, bis er in Reurieth in die Werra mündet. Erreichbar ist Dingsleben über die durchführende Kreisstraße von Themar nach Zeilfeld und von dort weiter nach Hildburghausen oder Römhild, als auch in Richtung Heldburger Unterland.
