Das Kabarett “Die Arche” wurde 1979 gegründet. Der Träger ist seit Mitte der 90er Jahre das “Thüringer Satiretheater und Kabarett DIE ARCHE e.V.”. Es bietet humorvolle Satire-Programme, die zum großen Teil vom eigenen (festen) Ensemble getextet werden, in denen aber auch Texte von Autorinnen und Autoren anderenorts Platz finden. Die Stücke werden zumeist musikalisch begleitet. Regie führen seit 2000 abwechselnd Harald Richter und Fernando Blumenthal. Jährlich spielt das Kabarett rund 280 Vorstellungen mit 2-3 neuen Inszenierungen, so dass ständig 8-10 wechselnde Stücke auf dem Spielplan stehen.

The cabaret “Die Arche” was founded in 1979. Since the mid-90s the holder has been the “Thüringer Satiretheater und Kabarett DIE ARCHE e.V.”. It offers humorous satire programs, most of which are written by their own (permanent) ensemble, but in which there is also space for texts by authors elsewhere. The pieces are mostly accompanied by music. From 2000, Harald Richter and Fernando Blumenthal took turns directing. Every year the cabaret plays around 280 performances with 2-3 new productions, so that there are constantly 8-10 changing pieces on the program.

Il propose des programmes satiriques pleins d'humour, dont les textes sont en grande partie écrits par sa propre troupe (permanente), mais dans lesquels des textes d'auteurs d'autres lieux trouvent également leur place. Les pièces sont le plus souvent accompagnées de musique. Depuis 2000, la mise en scène est assurée en alternance par Harald Richter et Fernando Blumenthal. Chaque année, le cabaret donne environ 280 représentations avec 2 à 3 nouvelles mises en scène, de sorte que 8 à 10 pièces différentes sont constamment à l'affiche.
