Die römisch-katholische Ignatiuskapelle befindet sich in der Gemeinde Wingerode im Landkreis Eichsfeld. Im Jahre 1657 wurde sie zu Ehren des Ordensgründers erbaut. 1661 wurde sie erweitert und 1715 aufgrund von Platzmangel neu erbaut. Im Inneren befinden sich Skulpturen des Hl. Ignatius, Hl. Franz Xaver und des Salvators von 1735, eine gotische Madonna und ein Vierzehnheiligenbild. Seit den 17. Jahrhundert findet am Sonntag nach dem Namenstag (31.07.) die einzige Ignatiuswallfahrt Europas statt.
La chapelle catholique romaine Saint-Ignace se trouve dans la commune de Wingerode, dans le district d'Eichsfeld. Elle a été construite en 1657 en l'honneur du fondateur de l'ordre. En 1661, elle a été agrandie et reconstruite en 1715 en raison du manque de place. À l'intérieur, on trouve des sculptures de Saint Ignace, Saint François Xavier et Salvator datant de 1735, une madone gothique et une image de Vierzehnheiligen. Depuis le 17e siècle, le dimanche suivant la fête du nom (31 juillet) a lieu le seul pèlerinage ignatien d'Europe.
The Roman Catholic Ignatius Chapel is located in the municipality of Wingerode in the Eichsfeld district. In 1657 it was built in honor of the founder of the order. In 1661 it was expanded and in 1715 it was rebuilt due to lack of space. Inside there are sculptures of St. Ignatius, St. Francis Xavier and the Salvator from 1735, a Gothic Madonna and a picture of Fourteen Saints. Since the 17th century the only Ignatius pilgrimage in Europe takes place on the Sunday after the name day (31.07.).
