About: Bienstädt

Bienstädt is located between Erfurt (18km) and Gotha (12km), belongs to the administrative community Nesseaue, with the seat in Friemar, and thus to the district Gotha. Bienstädt has about 660 inhabitants. In the village there are several handicraft enterprises, a hotel with restaurant and an agricultural enterprise for cattle husbandry. The number of inhabitants has grown by about one third due to a new development area built in the 90s. Bienstädt is the highest village in the Fahnersche Höhen (351m above sea level). The Weisbach rises in the village and flows into the Gera in Kühnhausen. Our landmark is the Bienstädter Warte, a stone tower from the 15th century (built in 1411).

Bienstädt liegt zwischen Erfurt (18km) und Gotha (12km), gehört zur Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Nesseaue, mit dem Sitz in Friemar, und somit zum Landkreis Gotha. Bienstädt hat ca. 660 Einwohner. Im Ort gibt es mehrere Handwerksbetriebe, ein Hotel mit Gaststätte und ein landwirtschaftlichen Betrieb für Rinderhaltung. Durch ein in den 90er Jahren entstandenes Neubaugebiet ist die Einwohnerzahl um ca. ein Drittel gewachsen. Bienstädt ist das am höchsten gelegene Dorf in den Fahnerschen Höhen (351m über NN). Im Ort entspringt der Weisbach, der in Kühnhausen in die Gera mündet. Unser Wahrzeichen ist die Bienstädter Warte, ein steinerner Turm aus dem 15. Jahrhundert (erbaut im Jahre 1411)

Grâce à un nouveau quartier construit dans les années 90, le nombre d'habitants a augmenté d'environ un tiers. Bienstädt est le village le plus élevé des Fahnersche Höhen (351 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer). Le Weisbach, qui se jette dans la Gera à Kühnhausen, prend sa source dans le village. Notre symbole est la Bienstädter Warte, une tour en pierre datant du 15ème siècle (construite en 1411).
