Mengersgereuth-Hämmern ist ein Ortsteil der Gemeinde Frankenblick im Landkreis Sonneberg in Thüringen. Zuvor existierte eine gleichnamige Gemeinde, die am 1. April 1923 gebildet und am 1. Januar 2012 mit der Gemeinde Effelder-Rauenstein zur neuen Gemeinde zusammengeschlossen wurde. Mengersgereuth-Hämmern ist malerisch eingebettet in bewaldete Bergrücken, fern von lärmendem Straßenverkehr, aber gut mit Bus , PKW und der Süd-Thüringen-Bahn zu erreichen. Der Ort mit seinen ca. 2900 Einwohner erstreckt sich über eine Länge von 5 km im Tal der Effelder und hat eine Gesamtfläche von ca.9,8 km². Spaziergänge oder Wanderungen im Tal und auf den Bergeshöhen um den von dichten Nadel- und Mischwäldern umgebenen Ort oder bis zum Rennsteig dem sagenumwobenen Höhenweg des Thüringer Waldes bieten unseren Gästen in gesunder Waldluft Erhohlung und Entspannung . Lassen auch Sie sich überraschen von der wohltuenden Ruhe in den romantischen Tälern, von dem reichhaltigen Angebot schattiger Waldpfade inmitten von noch unberührter Natur. Genießen Sie von den Bergeshöhen bei guter Fernsicht einen überwältigenden Panoramablick bis weit in das oberfränkische Land bis hin zur Rhön. Im Winter finden passionierte Skifahrer auf den umliegenden Bergen von 690 m bis 844 m die besten Voraussetzungen auf 50 Km gespurten Skiwanderwegen zu ausgedehnten Skiwanderungen. Für den alpinen Könner sind die Hänge in der Skiarena Steinach ideal gelegen und nur etwa 4 Km von Mengersgereuth-Hämmern entfernt. In den zahlreichen Gasthöfen der Gemeinde können Sie sich mit kulinarischen Gerichten so richtig verwöhnen lassen. Nach einer deftigen Mahlzeit haben Sie auch die Möglichkeit in einer der Pensionen oder im Hotel die Nacht zu verbringen, um so für den neuen Tag Kraft zu schöpfen.

Mengersgereuth-Hämmern est un quartier de la commune de Frankenblick dans le district de Sonneberg en Thuringe. Auparavant, il existait une municipalité du même nom, qui a été créée le 1er avril 1923 et qui a fusionné avec la municipalité d'Effelder-Rauenstein le 1er janvier 2012 pour former la nouvelle municipalité. Mengersgereuth-Hämmern est pittoresquement niché dans des crêtes montagneuses boisées, loin du trafic routier bruyant, mais facilement accessible en bus, en voiture et par le chemin de fer de Thuringe du Sud. Mengersgereuth-Hämmern is a district of the municipality Frankenblick in the district Sonneberg in Thuringia.
