Thälendorf, ein Ortsteil der Stadt Königsee, liegt in einem freundlichen Seitengrund des Tellbachtales am Vereinigungspunkt von 4 Tälern, von denen das nördliche nach Nahwinden, das östlichen nach Keilhau, das südliche nach Leutnitz und das westliche nach Solsdorf führt. Die 1750 errichtete und 1836 ausgebaute, denkmalgeschütze Kirche wurde in den 90er Jahren ebenso wie das Pfarrhaus durch das private Engagement der in Thälendorf sowie Solsdorf ehrenamtlich tätigen Pastorin saniert. Eine Vielzahl von Wanderwegen ermöglichen den Ausflug durch die Wälder in die umliegenden Orte wie Solsdorf, Leutnitz, Großgölitz und Storchsdorf, wo man die Ruhe und Schönheit des Thüringer Waldes genießen kann. Auf dem Thüringenweg erreicht man in östliche Richtung den Baropturm, die Burg Greifenstein und Bad Blankenburg und in westliche Richtung über Solsdorf und Hengelbach den über die Thüringer Grenzen hinweg bekannten Ort Paulinzella mit der romanischen Klosterruine, dem Museum zur Kloster-, Forst- und Jagdgeschichte im Jagdschloss, die Ausstellung "Vom Steinbeil bis zur Motorsäge" im Forstamt sowie einen Kräutergarten unterhalb der Klosterruine.

Thälendorf, a district of the town of Königsee, is situated in a friendly side valley of the Tellbach valley at the unification point of 4 valleys, of which the northern one leads to Nahwinden, the eastern one to Keilhau, the southern one to Leutnitz and the western one to Solsdorf. The church, which was built in 1750 and extended in 1836, is a listed building and was renovated in the 1990s, as was the vicarage, thanks to the private commitment of the pastor, who works in both Thälendorf and Solsdorf on a voluntary basis. A multitude of hiking trails make it possible to walk through the woods to the surrounding villages like Solsdorf, Leutnitz, Großgölitz and Storchsdorf, where you can enjoy the peace and beauty of the Thuringian Forest. On the Thuringia Trail you can reach the Baropturm, Greifenstein Castle and Bad Blankenburg in an easterly direction and in a westerly direction via Solsdorf and Hengelbach the town of Paulinzella, which is famous beyond the borders of Thuringia, with its Romanesque monastery ruins, the museum on the history of the monastery, forestry and hunting in the hunting lodge, the exhibition "From the stone axe to the power saw" in the forestry office and a herb garden below the monastery ruins.

Thälendorf, un quartier de la ville de Königsee, se trouve dans une vallée latérale accueillante de la vallée du Tellbach, au point de rencontre de 4 vallées, celle du nord menant à Nahwinden, celle de l'est à Keilhau, celle du sud à Leutnitz et celle de l'ouest à Solsdorf.
