Germershausen est une commune du district de Göttingen, dans le sud de la Basse-Saxe. Elle fait partie du paysage culturel de l' Untereichsfeld et se trouve dans ce qu'on appelle le Golden Mark, un paysage de bassin légèrement ondulé avec des plaines fertiles. Germershausen est un lieu de pèlerinage connu dans l'Eichsfeld depuis plus de 300 ans. La destination des pèlerinages dans le village est l' église de l'Annonciation et l' image de "Maria in der Wiese". L'image de grâce en bois de 72 cm de haut est située dans une allée latérale et représente la Mère de Dieu intronisée avec l'Enfant. Marie tient le sceptre dans sa main droite et l'enfant Jésus dans son bras gauche. La figure peut être datée du milieu du 15e siècle. Les pèlerinages ont lieu "sur la prairie", le parc autour de l'église de pèlerinage, à un autel libre.

Germershausen has been a well-known place of pilgrimage in the Eichsfeld for well over 300 years. The destination of the pilgrimages in the village is the church of the Annunciation and the image of "Maria in der Wiese". The 72 cm high image of grace made of wood is located in a side aisle and depicts the enthroned Mother of God with Child. Mary holds the sceptre in her right hand and the child Jesus in her left arm. The figure can be dated to the middle of the 15th century. The pilgrimages take place "on the meadow", the park around the pilgrimage church, at a free altar.

Germershausen ist eine Gemeinde im Landkreis Göttingen in Südniedersachsen und gehört zur Kulturlandschaft Untereichsfeld und liegt in der sogenannten Goldenen Mark, einer sanft welligen Beckenlandschaft mit fruchtbaren Niederungen. Germershausen ist seit weit über 300 Jahren ein bekannter Wallfahrtsort im Eichsfeld. Ziel der Wallfahrten im Ort ist die Kirche Mariä Verkündigung und das Gnadenbild "Maria in der Wiese". Das 72 cm hohe Gnadenbild aus Holz befindet sich in einem Seitenschiff und stellt die thronende Gottesmutter mit Kind dar. Maria hält das Zepter in der rechten Hand und das Jesuskind in ihrem linken Arm. Die Figur kann auf die Mitte des 15. Jahrhunderts datiert werden. Die Wallfahrten finden "auf der Wiese", dem Park um die Wallfahrtskirche, an einem Freialtar statt.
