Le quartier le plus au sud de Treffurt est un village agricole à colombages qui compte environ 1100 habitants. Les habitants d'Ifta sont connus pour leur respect vivant des traditions et leurs fêtes de kermesse abondantes. Le village d'Yfide a été mentionné pour la première fois en 1260 et a été influencé au Moyen-Âge par sa situation sur la route d'escorte très fréquentée "Lange Hessen". À l'époque de la RDA, les habitants ont dû subir de nombreuses représailles et même des expulsions forcées dans cette zone interdite de 5 km. Les habitants d'Ifta sont très attachés à leur région, ils aiment le football et les fêtes traditionnelles. Le centre du village est constitué par la place du village et l'église de la Trinité, entourée de fermes à colombages des 18e et 19e siècles.

Treffurt's southernmost district is an agricultural half-timbered village with around 1100 inhabitants. The people of Ifta are known for their lively traditions and extensive funfair celebrations. The village of Yfide was first mentioned in 1260 and was influenced in the Middle Ages by its location on the busy "Lange Hessen" road. During the GDR era, the people here had to suffer many reprisals and even forced resettlement in the 5 km exclusion zone. The people of Ifta have close ties to their homeland and love soccer and traditional festivals. The village green and the Trinitatis church, surrounded by half-timbered houses from the 18th and 19th centuries, form the center of the village.

Treffurts südlichster Stadtteil ist ein landwirtschaftlich geprägtes Fachwerkdorf mit ca. 1100 Einwohnern. Die Iftaer sind für ihre lebendige Traditionspflege und ausgiebige Kirmesfeiern bekannt. Der Ort Yfide wurde 1260 erstmals erwähnt und war im Mittelalter durch seine Lage an der viel befahrenen Geleitstraße „Lange Hessen“ beeinflusst. In der DDR-Zeit mussten die Menschen hier in der 5km-Sperrzone viele Repressalien und sogar Zwangsaussiedlungen erleiden. Die Iftaer sind ihrer Heimat eng verbunden, lieben den Fußball und die traditionellen Feste. Ihr Ortszentrum bilden der Dorfanger und die Trinitatiskirche, umrahmt von Fachwerkhöfen aus dem 18. und 19. Jahrhundert.
