Die Oberhofer Sport und Event GmbH (OSE) ist die zentrale Organisation für internationale Top-Sportevents in der LOTTO Thüringen ARENA am Rennsteig. Sie ist verantwortlich für die Durchführung des BMW IBU Weltcups Biathlon (bis 2026), den Coop FIS Langlauf Weltcup 2024 sowie die BMW IBU Weltmeisterschaften Biathlon 2023. Als Nachfolgerin der WSRO Skisport GmbH (gegründet 2020) setzt die OSE auf die unverzichtbare Unterstützung der ehrenamtlichen Volunteers und der Vereine des Thüringer Skiverbandes. Neben den Biathlon-Wettbewerben organisiert sie den Firmenlauf Thüringens Süden und strebt perspektivisch die Organisation weiterer internationaler Sportevents und touristischer Angebote an. Die OSE ist eine Tochtergesellschaft des Zweckverbandes Thüringer Wintersportzentrum Oberhof (TWZ), dem Eigentümer und Betreiber der Sportstätten und Heimat zahlreicher Spitzensportler:innen. OSE und TWZ arbeiten Hand in Hand, um unvergessliche Erlebnisse für Aktive und Fans zu schaffen.

The Oberhofer Sport und Event GmbH (OSE) is the central organization for international top-level sporting events at the LOTTO Thüringen ARENA am Rennsteig. It is responsible for hosting the BMW IBU World Cup Biathlon (through 2026), the Coop FIS Cross-Country World Cup 2024, as well as the BMW IBU World Championships Biathlon 2023.
As the successor to WSRO Skisport GmbH (founded in 2020), OSE relies on the indispensable support of volunteer helpers and the clubs of the Thüringer Skiverband.
In addition to the biathlon competitions, it organizes the “Firmenlauf Thüringens Süden” (Company Run of Southern Thuringia) and aims, in the long term, to host further international sporting events and develop additional tourism offerings.
OSE is a subsidiary of the Zweckverband Thüringer Wintersportzentrum Oberhof (TWZ), the owner and operator of the sports facilities and home to numerous elite athletes. OSE and TWZ work hand in hand to create unforgettable experiences for athletes and fans alike.
