About: Oppurg

Oppurg compte parmi les plus anciennes agglomérations de l'Orlagau. Le château baroque qui caractérise la localité et qui revêt une importance suprarégionale est indissociable de l'histoire de la commune. Le château et son parc ont été restaurés en profondeur et avec style et sont un régal pour les yeux de tous les visiteurs. Les églises des trois quartiers et le Türkenhof d'Oppurg sont des édifices à recommander et à voir. Le domaine de Positz à Kolba est un but d'excursion qui vaut la peine, surtout pour les randonneurs et les cyclistes. Les environs sont particulièrement propices au repos et à la détente lors de promenades, de randonnées et de tours à vélo. De nombreux restaurants proposant une bonne cuisine bourgeoise invitent à s'attarder.

Oppurg is one of the oldest settlements in the Orlagau region. Inseparably connected with the history of the village is the baroque castle, which shapes the village and is of supraregional importance. The castle with its park has been extensively and stylishly restored and is a feast for the eyes. The churches in all three parts of the village and the Türkenhof in Oppurg are worth a visit. A worthwhile destination - especially for hikers and cyclists - is the Positz estate in Kolba. The surrounding area is particularly suitable for recreation and relaxation during walks, hikes and bicycle tours. Numerous restaurants with good home cooking invite you to stay.

Oppurg zählt zu den ältesten Siedlungen des Orlagaues. Untrennbar mit der Geschichte der Gemeinde verbunden ist das den Ort prägende und überregional bedeutsame Barockschloss. Das Schloss mit seinen Parkanlagen wurde umfangreich und stilvoll restauriert und ist für jeden Betrachter eine Augenweide. Empfehlens- und sehenswerte Bauten sind die Kirchen in allen drei Ortsteilen und der Türkenhof in Oppurg. Ein lohnendes Ausflugsziel - besonders für Wanderer und Radfahrer - ist das Gut Positz in Kolba. Die Umgebung ist besonders geeignet zur Erholung und Entspannung bei Spaziergängen, Wanderungen und Radtouren. Zahlreiche Gaststätten mit gut bürgerlicher Küche laden zum Verweilen ein.
