Sonderführung: Duderstadts neue Ordnung zwischen geistlicher Autorität und weltlicher Kontrolle Vor genau 500 Jahren verlor die Stadt Duderstadt durch die Albertinische Ordnung ihre Autonomierechte. Aus diesem Anlass bietet die Stadt Duderstadt am Samstag, 11. April, um 14.30 Uhr eine Sonderführung zu diesem Thema an. Was geschah im Jahr 1526 in Duderstadt? Mit der Albertinischen Ordnung erhielt Duderstadt ein neues Grundgesetz und verlor damit einen erheblichen Teil ihrer städtischen Autonomie. Die landesherrliche Kontrolle durch das Kurfürstentum Mainz wurde deutlich gestärkt, unter anderem durch die Einsetzung eines ständigen Stadtschultheißen als Vertreter des Erzbischofs. Die Themenführung beleuchtet die Rolle dieser Stadtschultheißen, ihre Namen und ihren Einfluss auf die Geschicke der Stadt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen auch die Brüder Herwig und Johann Christoph Böning, die als bischöflicher Kommissarius und Stadtschultheiß geistliche und weltliche Macht miteinander verbanden. Herwig Böning gab die Errichtung der Mariensäule in Auftrag: mit dem Mainzer Wappen, vom Rathaus aus gut sichtbar, als Zeichen landesherrlicher Autorität und zugleich als Markierung einer Pfarrgrenze. Auch die Erweiterung des Historischen Rathauses nach 1526 wird eingeordnet: Ausdruck neuer Machtverhältnisse oder selbstbewusste Antwort des Rates? Die Führung macht deutlich, wie nachhaltig die Albertinische Ordnung Politik, Stadtbild und Selbstverständnis Duderstadts prägte. With the Albertine Order, Duderstadt received a new constitution and thereby lost a significant portion of its municipal autonomy. The sovereign control exercised by the Electorate of Mainz was significantly strengthened, in part through the appointment of a permanent mayor as the archbishop’s representative. This themed tour highlights the role of these town mayors, their names, and their influence on the city’s history. The focus is also on the brothers Herwig and Johann Christoph Böning, who, as episcopal commissioner and town mayor, combined spiritual and secular power. Herwig Böning commissioned the construction of the Marian Column: bearing the Mainz coat of arms, clearly visible from the town hall, as a sign of sovereign authority and at the same time as a marker of a parish boundary. The expansion of the Historic Town Hall after 1526 is also examined: an expression of new power dynamics or a self-assured response by the council? The tour highlights how profoundly the Albertine Order shaped the politics, cityscape, and self-image of Duderstadt. Visite guidée spéciale : le nouvel ordre établi à Duderstadt, entre autorité ecclésiastique et contrôle laïc Il y a exactement 500 ans, la ville de Duderstadt perdait ses droits d'autonomie en vertu de l'ordonnance albertine. À cette occasion, la ville de Duderstadt propose une visite guidée spéciale sur ce thème le samedi 11 avril à 14 h 30. Que s'est-il passé à Duderstadt en 1526 ? Avec l'ordonnance albertine, Duderstadt s'est dotée d'une nouvelle constitution et a ainsi perdu une partie considérable de son autonomie municipale. Le contrôle seigneurial exercé par l'électorat de Mayence a été considérablement renforcé, notamment par la nomination d'un maire permanent en tant que représentant de l'archevêque. Cette visite thématique met en lumière le rôle de ces maires, leurs noms et leur influence sur le destin de la ville. L'accent est également mis sur les frères Herwig et Johann Christoph Böning, qui, en tant que commissaire épiscopal et maire, alliaient pouvoir ecclésiastique et pouvoir temporel.
