About: Lauchröden

Lauchröden is a cluster village with a typical regional center (church, lime tree, village square, rectory, inn, school, forester's lodge) at the inflow of the small river Elte into the Werra. The village was first mentioned in documents at the consecration of St. Martin's Chapel in 1144. The development of the village is closely connected with the history of Brandenburg and its lords. With the abandonment of the Brandenburg in the 16th century, the citizens of Lauchroden used the stones of the castle as building materials for castles and estates in the village. Therefore, today's townscape is still characterized by the massive stones of the Brandenburg.

Lauchröden est un village de montagne avec un centre typique de la région (église, tilleul, place du village, presbytère, auberge, école, maison forestière) situé à l'embouchure de la petite rivière Elte dans la Werra. C'est à l'occasion de la consécration de la chapelle Saint-Martin en 1144 que le village est mentionné pour la première fois dans un document. Le développement du village est étroitement lié à l'histoire des Brandenburg et de leurs seigneurs. Avec l'abandon du château de Brandenburg au XVIe siècle, les citoyens de Lauchröden ont utilisé les pierres du château comme matériaux de construction pour les châteaux et les domaines de la localité. L'image actuelle du village est donc toujours marquée par les pierres massives du château de Brandenburg.

Lauchröden ist ein Haufendorf mit regionaltypischem Ortskern (Kirche, Linde, Dorfplatz, Pfarrhaus, Gasthaus, Schule, Forsthaus) am Zufluss des Flüsschens Elte in die Werra. Zur Weihung der Martinskapelle 1144 wurde der Ort erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Die Entwicklung des Ortes ist mit der Geschichte der Brandenburg und ihren Herren eng verbunden. Mit der Aufgabe der Brandenburg im 16. Jh. nutzten die Bürger Lauchrödens die Steine der Burg als Baumaterialien für Schlösser und Güter im Ort. Das heutige Ortsbild ist daher immer noch von den massiven Steinen der Brandenburg geprägt.
