Der Imbiss befindet sich unterhalb der Burg Ranis am Parkplatz. Ranis liegt am südlichen Rand der Orlasenke zwischen dem Thüringer Holzland im Norden und dem Oberland mit dem Hohenwarte-Stausee im Süden in 380 Metern Höhe. Es wird durchflossen vom Schrötersbach, der südlich oberhalb der Stadt entspringt und über die Stadtwiese und danach teilweise verdolt entlang der ehemaligen Stadtmauer verläuft. Er mündet später in den etwas weiter westlich verlaufenden Fischbach, der in die Kotschau fließt.
Le snack-bar se trouve en dessous du château de Ranis, au niveau du parking. Ranis se trouve à la limite sud de la vallée de l'Orla, entre le Thüringer Holzland au nord et l'Oberland avec le barrage de Hohenwarte au sud, à 380 mètres d'altitude. Elle est traversée par le Schrötersbach, qui prend sa source au sud en amont de la ville et traverse la prairie municipale, puis passe partiellement sous terre le long de l'ancien mur de la ville. Il se jette ensuite dans le Fischbach, un peu plus à l'ouest, qui se jette dans la Kotschau.
The snack bar is located below Ranis Castle at the parking lot. Ranis lies on the southern edge of the Orlasenke between the Thuringian Holzland to the north and the Oberland with the Hohenwarte reservoir to the south at an altitude of 380 meters.
