About: Silbach

Silbach, a district of the town of Schleusingen has a population of about 100 and was first mentioned in a document in 1251, it was a foundation of the richly endowed family of the lords of Kühndorf. Silbach is located at the edge of the biosphere reserve Vessertal and presents the nature lover many special features and rarities. The untouched nature in this area also has a positive effect on the neighbouring areas and invites especially to rest and relax. The altitude between 400 - 630 m above sea level allows ideal hiking and winter holidays. The small place lies approx. 3 km away from the OT Hinternah and is to be reached from there by a again developed road with passenger car well. The attractions of the very quiet and idyllic village Silbach are a bell house (formerly the residence of the writer J. Knappe) and a village fountain.

Silbach, un quartier de la ville de Schleusingen, compte une centaine d'habitants et est mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 1251 ; c'était une fondation de la riche dynastie des seigneurs de Kühndorf. Silbach se trouve en bordure de la réserve de biosphère du Vessertal et présente aux amoureux de la nature de nombreuses particularités et raretés. La nature intacte de cette zone a également un effet positif sur les zones voisines et est particulièrement propice au repos et à la détente. L'altitude entre 400 et 630 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer permet des randonnées et des vacances d'hiver idéales. Le petit village est situé à environ 3 km du village de Hinternah et est facilement accessible en voiture par une route récemment construite. Les attractions du village très calme et idyllique de Silbach sont une maison à clochettes (autrefois la résidence de l'écrivain J. Knappe) et une fontaine de village.

Silbach, Ortsteil der Stadt Schleusingen hat eine Einwohnerzahl von ca. 100 und wurde 1251 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt, er war eine Gründung des reichbegüterten Geschlechtes der Herren von Kühndorf. Silbach liegt am Rande des Biosphärenreservat Vessertal und präsentiert dem Naturfreund viele Besonderheiten und Raritäten. Die unberührte Natur in diesem Areal wirkt sich positiv auch auf die angrenzenden Bereiche aus und lädt besonders zum Ausruhen und Entspannen ein. Die Höhenlage zwischen 400–630 m ü. NN ermöglicht idealen Wander- und Winterurlaub. Der kleine Ort liegt ca. 3 km vom OT Hinternah entfernt und ist von dort durch eine neu ausgebaute Fahrstraße mit PKW gut zu erreichen. Die Attraktivitäten des sehr ruhig und idyllisch gelegenen Ortes Silbach sind ein Glockenhaus (ehemals das Domizil des Schriftstellers J. Knappe) und ein Dorfbrunnen.
