About: Rabenäußig

Der Ort Rabenäußig, zugehörig zur Gemeinde Frankenblick besteht aus vier Siedlungsbereichen: Hohetann, Fichtach, Melchersberg und Rabenäußig selbst. Hohetann entstand als Rodesiedlung und wurde 1317 erstmals als „bi den hohen tannen“ urkundlich erwähnt. Rabenäußig liegt im westlichen Teil des Ortes. Er wird erstmals in einem um 1275 anzusetzenden Lehensverzeichnis der Herren von Sonneberg als „Rabenuwesez“ aufgeführt. 1445 befand sich hier eine Glashütte. Den Mittelpunkt bildet heute Melchersberg. Diese im Spätmittelalter auf Rodeland gegründetet Siedlung ist weit jünger als die anderen Ortsteile. Mit Waldarbeit und Märbelsteinpicken verdienten sich die Einwohner ihren Lebensunterhalt. Später wandten sich immer mehr Einwohner der Spielwarenherstellung zu. Unmittelbar unterhalb von Melchersberg liegt frei auf dem Fichtacher Berg die Siedlung Fichtach. Als Besitz des Klosters Banz und als Lehen der Herren von Schaumberg findet man sie erstmals im 14. Jahrhundert erwähnt. Natur- und Wanderfreunden ist dieser am höchsten gelegene Teil unserer Gemeinde sehr zu empfehlen. Von hier aus kann man seinen Blick bis weit ins Fränkische schweifen lassen und bei guter Sicht sogar die Veste Coburg erkennen.

Le village de Rabenäußig, qui appartient à la municipalité de Frankenblick, se compose de quatre zones d'habitation : Hohetann, Fichtach, Melchersberg et Rabenäußig lui-même. Hohetann était à l'origine une colonie de Rode et a été mentionné pour la première fois dans un document en 1317 sous le nom de "bi den hohen tannen". Rabenäußig se trouve dans la partie ouest du village. Il est mentionné pour la première fois sous le nom de "Rabenuwesez" dans un registre féodal des seigneurs de Sonneberg, qui doit être daté d'environ 1275. En 1445, il y avait une verrerie ici. Aujourd'hui, Melchersberg est le centre du village. Ce village, fondé sur Rodeland à la fin du Moyen Âge, est beaucoup plus jeune que les autres parties du village. Les habitants gagnaient leur vie en travaillant dans la forêt et en ramassant des pierres de fée. Plus tard, de plus en plus d'habitants se sont tournés vers la fabrication de jouets. Le village de Fichtach se trouve directement en dessous de Melchersberg, sur la montagne de Fichtach. Il est mentionné pour la première fois au XIVe siècle comme propriété du monastère de Banz et comme fief des seigneurs de Schaumberg. Cette partie la plus élevée de notre communauté est fortement recommandée aux amoureux de la nature et aux randonneurs. De là, vous pouvez voir jusqu'à la Franconie et, par temps clair, même le château de Cobourg.

Immediately below Melchersberg, the settlement of Fichtach lies freely on the Fichtach mountain. It was first mentioned in the 14th century as a property of the Banz Monastery and as a fiefdom of the Lords of Schaumberg. This highest part of our community is highly recommended to nature lovers and hikers. From here you can see far into the Franconian region and on a clear day you can even see the Veste Coburg.
