Der Brunnen auf dem Marktplatz in Bad Lobenstein wurde 1995 anlässlich des 18. Marktfestes eingeweiht und ist damit ein vergleichsweise junges Gestaltungselement des Platzes. Mit seiner Hundegruppe greift er die Bracke aus dem Stadtwappen auf und erinnert so an ein zentrales heraldisches Symbol der Stadt. Ullrich Holland, Bildhauer aus Gera, ist der Schöpfer dieser Hundegruppe.
La fontaine située sur la place du marché de Bad Lobenstein a été inaugurée en 1995 à l'occasion de la 18e fête du marché. Elle est donc un élément relativement récent de l'aménagement de la place. Avec son groupe de chiens, elle reprend le braque figurant sur les armoiries de la ville et rappelle ainsi un symbole héraldique central de la ville. Ullrich Holland, sculpteur originaire de Gera, est l'auteur de ce groupe de chiens.
The fountain on the market square in Bad Lobenstein was inaugurated in 1995 on the occasion of the 18th market festival, making it a relatively new feature of the square. With its group of dogs, it picks up on the braque from the town's coat of arms, thus recalling a central heraldic symbol of the town. Ullrich Holland, a sculptor from Gera, is the creator of this group of dogs.
