Dreitzsch is a municipality in the Saale-Orla district of Thuringia and belongs to the administrative community of Triptis. It consists of the districts of Dreitzsch and Alsmannsdorf and is located in the eastern Orla valley. The village was first mentioned in documents in 1120 and is characterized by the baroque St. John's Church (1703) and the listed "Stone Bridge". Formerly a manor, Alsmannsdorf developed from its outlying estate. Agriculture dominates the economy, while redevelopment measures are intended to improve the quality of life in the community. A village and local history museum shows the history of the settlement and rural life.

Dreitzsch ist eine Gemeinde im thüringischen Saale-Orla-Kreis und gehört zur Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Triptis. Sie besteht aus den Ortsteilen Dreitzsch und Alsmannsdorf und liegt im östlichen Orlatal. Die erste urkundliche Erwähnung stammt aus dem Jahr 1120. Das Ortsbild wird von der barocken Johanneskirche (1703) und der denkmalgeschützten „Steinernen Brücke“ geprägt. Ehemals ein Rittergut, entwickelte sich Alsmannsdorf aus dessen Vorwerk. Die Landwirtschaft dominiert die Wirtschaft, während Sanierungsmaßnahmen die Lebensqualität in der Gemeinde verbessern sollen. Ein Dorf- und Heimatmuseum zeigt die Siedlungsgeschichte und das bäuerliche Leben.
