Das Theater Erfurt ist ein kommunales Mehrspartenhaus und zentrale Kultureinrichtung der Landeshauptstadt. Mit Oper, Musical, Schauspiel, Konzert und Tanz sowie dem Philharmonischen Orchester Erfurt erfüllt es einen breiten Kultur- und Bildungsauftrag. Das 2003 eröffnete Opernhaus bietet moderne Produktionsbedingungen, zwei Spielflächen und Raum für Kooperationen. Dazu zählt auch die organisatorische Verantwortung für das jährliche DomStufen-Festival.

Avec son opéra, ses comédies musicales, ses pièces de théâtre, ses concerts et ses spectacles de danse, ainsi que l'orchestre philharmonique d'Erfurt, il remplit une large mission culturelle et éducative. Ouvert en 2003, l'opéra offre des conditions de production modernes, deux salles de spectacle et un espace dédié aux collaborations.
