Die Bibliothek der Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt umfasst zwei Gebäude mit einem umfangreichen physischen Bestand und zahlreichen digitalen Datenbanken. Die Hauptbibliothek befindet sich im Fürstenhaus am Platz der Demokratie 2 und die Teilbibliothek für Musikwissenschaft am Hochschulzentrum am Horn (Carl-Alexander-Platz 1). Die Bibliothek ist öffentlich zugänglich, doch Medien auszuleihen ist nur Mitgliedern oder Studenten anderer Thüringer Hochschulen, nach Anmeldung, gestattet.
The library of the Franz Liszt college of Music comprises two buildings housing an extensive physical collection and numerous digital databases. The main library is located in the Fürstenhaus at Platz der Demokratie 2, and the branch library for musicology is located at the Hochschulzentrum am Horn (Carl-Alexander-Platz 1). The library is open to the public, but only members or students from other universities in Thuringia are permitted to borrow materials, upon registration.
