A Colorado for hikers with fantastic viewpoints, bikers with high standards, and water sports enthusiasts who want to explore the 27 km long reservoir by canoe or SUP. For all fishing enthusiasts, there are special spots here. Families can enjoy their time at the beach with a large adventure playground or marvel at the area from the water on an excursion with the Hohenwarte boat service directly from the site. The "Schmiedehafen" restaurant and our bread roll service with baked goods from a traditional baker in the region will take care of your physical well-being. The first Thuringian sauna boat is anchored here and can be booked through our partner. There are an incredible number of attractions in our region.
