Höngeda est un quartier de la ville de Mühlhausen et est situé au sud-est sur une route principale en direction de Bad Langensalza. Le district est situé dans le bassin de Thuringe. Höngeda est mentionné pour la première fois en 876. L'église St. Cyriakus mérite d'être vue. Saint Cyriaque est le saint patron des vignerons. Les citoyens de l'époque de la colonie de Höngeda, avec son église St. Cyriak, occupaient une place stratégique importante en tant que voisins de la ville impériale de Mühlhausen et en tant que riverains de la très large plaine d'inondation d'Unstrut. Höngeda est relié au réseau régional de pistes cyclables. Entre Höngeda et Seebach, il est possible d'utiliser une piste cyclable de raccordement à la piste cyclable d'Unstrut.

Höngeda is a district of the city of Mühlhausen and is located southeast on a main road towards Bad Langensalza. The district is located in the Thuringian Basin. Höngeda was first mentioned in 876. Worth seeing is the church St. Cyriakus. Saint Cyriakus is the patron saint of winegrowers. The then citizens of the settlement of Höngeda with its St. Cyriak's Church occupied an important strategic place as a neighbour of the imperial town of Mühlhausen and as a riparian in the very wide Unstrut floodplain. The church was therefore a fortified church and an outpost for the Mühlhausen moat. An active club life, from the carnival to the fire brigade, characterizes the local life. Höngeda is connected to the regional cycle path network. Between Höngeda and Seebach there is the possibility to use a feeder cycle track to the Unstrut cycle track.

Höngeda ist ein Ortsteil der Stadt Mühlhausen und liegt südöstlich an einer Hauptverkehrsstraße Richtung Bad Langensalza. Die Gemarkung des Ortsteils befindet sich im Thüringer Becken. Erstmals erwähnt wurde Höngeda 876. Sehenswert ist die Kirche St. Cyriakus. Der Heilige Cyriakus ist der Schutzpatron der Winzer. Die damaligen Bürger der Siedlung Höngeda mit ihrer St. Cyriakskirche bewohnten als Nachbar der Reichsstadt Mühlhausen und als Anlieger in der sehr breiten Unstrutaue einen wichtigen strategischen Platz. Die Kirche war daher Wehrkirche und Außenposten für den Mühlhäuser Landgraben. Ein aktives Vereinsleben, vom Karneval bis zur Feuerwehr, prägt das örtliche Leben. Höngeda ist an das regionale Radwegenetz angebunden. Zwischen Höngeda und Seebach besteht die Möglichkeit einen Zubringer-Radweg zum Unstrut-Radweg zu nutzen.
