Das als Straßendorf ausgebildete Langenbach befindet sich im Westen der Gemeinde Schleusegrund, in einem engen Seitental der Schleuse. Am 20. Januar 1526 wurde das Dorf erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Heute ist der Ort noch landwirtschaftlich und kulturell geprägt. Der Spielplatz befinden sich im Zentrum des Ortes und bietet eine gemütliche Auszeit.

The street village of Langenbach is located in the west of the municipality of Schleusegrund, in a narrow side valley of the Schleuse.
