Als das markanteste Kirchenbauwerk und Wahrzeichen der Ratsstadt von Naumburg gehört die Wenzelskirche zu den bedeutsamsten Bauwerken an der Saale. Der spätgotische Bau von 1426 erhielt 1510/1520 sein Westportal und 1724 im Innern eine barocke Ausstattung. Die wunderschöne Hildebrandt-Orgel ist ein Juwel barocker Orgelbautradition. Johann Sebastian Bach und Gottfried Silbermann übernahmen 1746 die Prüfung dieser Orgel. Die Orgel wurde von 1993 bis 2000 aufwändig restauriert. Sie ist die einzige authentisch erhaltene Bachorgel weltweit. Von Mai bis Oktober finden mittwochs, samstags, sonntags und feiertags 12:00 Uhr "Orgel punkt Zwölf" (30-minütige Orgelkonzerte) statt. Hervorhebenswert sind u. a. der barocke Hochaltar von 1680 sowie Gemälde aus der Werkstatt von Lucas Cranach d. Ä.. Bemerkenswert ist auch die Grabplatte des August Leubelfing, Page des Schwedenkönigs Gustav Adolf. Der Kirchturm der evangelischen Wenzelskirche ist mit 72 Metern der höchste Turm der Stadt. Er besitzt in seiner Türmerwohnung in 53 Metern Höhe eine Aussichtsplattform, die von April bis Oktober täglich geöffnet hat. Sechs Glocken hängen im Turm. Die drei größeren wurden 1518 von Martin Hilliger aus Freiberg gegossen und hängen seit dem Jahre 2000 restauriert in einem massiven, spätgotischen Holzglockenstuhl aus den Jahren 1521/23. In der Turmlaterne hängt neben zwei Uhrschlagschalen die Tor-, Schul- und Beichtglocke aus dem Jahre 1763.
As the most striking church building and landmark of the council town of Naumburg, the Wenzelskirche is one of the most significant buildings on the Saale. The late Gothic building from 1426 received its west portal in 1510/1520 and a Baroque interior in 1724. The beautiful Hildebrandt organ is a jewel of the Baroque organ building tradition. Johann Sebastian Bach and Gottfried Silbermann took over the testing of this organ in 1746. The organ was extensively restored between 1993 and 2000. It is the only authentically preserved Bach organ in the world. From May to October, "Orgel punkt Zwölf" (30-minute organ concerts) take place on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 12:00 noon. Highlights include the baroque high altar from 1680 and paintings from the workshop of Lucas Cranach the Elder. Also noteworthy is the tombstone of August Leubelfing, page of the Swedish King Gustav Adolf. At 72 meters, the church tower of the Protestant Wenceslas Church is the tallest tower in the city. It has a viewing platform in the tower keeper's dwelling at a height of 53 meters, which is open daily from April to October. Six bells hang in the tower. The three larger ones were cast in 1518 by Martin Hilliger from Freiberg and have been hanging in a massive, late Gothic wooden belfry dating from 1521/23 since 2000. The gate, school and confession bells from 1763 hang in the tower lantern alongside two clock chimes.

La plaque funéraire d'August Leubelfing, page du roi de Suède Gustave Adolphe, est également remarquable. Le clocher de l'église protestante Wenzelskirche est, avec ses 72 mètres, la plus haute tour de la ville. Il possède dans son logement de gardien, à 53 mètres de hauteur, une plate-forme d'observation ouverte tous les jours d'avril à octobre. Six cloches sont suspendues dans la tour. Les trois plus grandes ont été fondues en 1518 par Martin Hilliger de Freiberg et sont suspendues, restaurées depuis l'an 2000, dans un beffroi en bois massif de style gothique tardif datant de 1521/23. Dans la lanterne de la tour, outre deux sonneries d'horloge, est suspendue la cloche de la porte, de l'école et de la confession datant de 1763.
