2026 findet das Symposium für Baukulturelle Bildung zum 8. Mal statt. Mit baukultureller Bildung entwickeln wir ein kritisches Urteilsvermögen, Verständnis für gestalterische, soziale, ökologische und historische Zusammenhänge und werden befähigt zur verantwortungsvollen Mitgestaltung und Teilhabe an Planungs- und Gestaltungsprozessen. Das Symposium mit Fokus auf das Textile zeigt, wie sich Bildung, Gestaltung und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung miteinander verweben lassen. Aus vier Perspektiven – Materialforschung, Kulturgeschichte, Kunst und Vermittlung – wird immer in Bezug auf das Stoffliche gefragt: Wie kann Bildung Menschen befähigen, an gesellschaftlichen Entwicklungen teilzuhaben? Wie wird Raumgewebe zum Vermittler zwischen Architektur und Gestalt? Und wie kann aus Verknüpfungen Neues entstehen – im Raum, im Denken, im Miteinander?

En 2026, le symposium sur la formation à la culture architecturale aura lieu pour la 8e fois. La formation à la culture architecturale nous permet de développer un esprit critique, de comprendre les liens entre la conception, la société, l'écologie et l'histoire, et nous donne les moyens de participer de manière responsable aux processus de planification et de conception. Le symposium, axé sur le textile, montre comment l'éducation, la conception et la responsabilité sociale peuvent être étroitement liées. À partir de quatre perspectives – la recherche sur les matériaux, l'histoire culturelle, l'art et la médiation – la question suivante est toujours posée en rapport avec les matériaux : comment l'éducation peut-elle permettre aux individus de participer aux évolutions sociales ? Comment le tissu spatial devient-il un médiateur entre l'architecture et la conception ? Et comment les connexions peuvent-elles donner naissance à quelque chose de nouveau – dans l'espace, dans la pensée, dans la coexistence ?

In 2026, the Symposium for Building Culture Education will take place for the eighth time. Building culture education helps us develop critical thinking skills and an understanding of creative, social, ecological, and historical contexts, enabling us to participate responsibly in planning and design processes. The symposium, which focuses on textiles, shows how education, design, and social responsibility can be interwoven. From four perspectives—material research, cultural history, art, and education—questions are always asked in relation to materials: How can education empower people to participate in social developments? How does spatial fabric become a mediator between architecture and design? And how can connections give rise to something new—in space, in thinking, in coexistence?
