Der Erdbeerhof Gebesee befindet sich unweit des gleichnamigen Städtchens direkt am Unstrut-Radweg. Im Unstruttal gelegen profitiert das Landwirtschaftsunternehmen von den fruchtbaren Äckern. Neben dem erwerbsmäßigen Anbau von Erdbeeren werden auch Kartoffeln und Spargel produziert. Dank Zeltanbau können Erdbeeren ab Mai bis in den Herbst angeboten werden. Eine gastronomische Kiosk-Versorgung gibt es gleich neben der Selbstpflücke am Unstrut-Radweg. Bevorzugt in den Monaten Mai bis August kann vor eingekehrt oder mitgepflückt werden. Heiß- und Kalt-Getränke, sowie alles rund um die Erdbeer-Vermarktung gibt es vor Ort zu kaufen. Die Gegend um den Erdbeerhof ist geschichtsträchtig. In Blickweite befindet sich die Tretenburg, die letzte offizielle Thing-Stätte der Thüringer vor mehr als tausend Jahren. Der Katzenberg, auf dem sich das Betriebsgelände ausbreitet, hat, laut Legende, eine tragische Geschichte zu erzählen, die vor Ort in Erfahrung gebracht werden kann. Familie Leefers betreibt das Unternehmen in zweiter Generation Die Produktpalette wird bundesweit vermarktet. Seinen Sitz hat der Erdbeerhof im ehemaligen Schloss von Gebesee, nahe der Mündung der Gera und die Unstrut. Hier endet auch der Geraradweg und mündet in den Unstrut-Radweg.

Il est possible de s'y arrêter ou de participer à la cueillette, de préférence de mai à août. Des boissons chaudes et froides ainsi que tout ce qui concerne la commercialisation des fraises sont en vente sur place. Les environs de la ferme aux fraises sont chargés d'histoire. À portée de vue se trouve le Tretenburg, le dernier lieu de thing officiel des Thuringiens il y a plus de mille ans. Le Katzenberg, sur lequel s'étend le terrain de l'entreprise, a, selon la légende, une histoire tragique à raconter, que l'on peut découvrir sur place. La famille Leefers gère l'entreprise depuis deux générations. La gamme de produits est commercialisée dans toute l'Allemagne.
