Ausgangspunkt für diese Rundroute ist das Ende der Schmücke Straße (Parkplatz Skilift/ Hotel Endspurt) oder der Parkplatz Kreuzwege (Straße nach Oberhof). Sie überqueren den Rennsteig und können dann auf der Runde um den Finsterberg ca. 4 km (Gesamtstrecke ca. 8km) den Thüringer Wald in vollen Zügen genießen. Erweitert haben Sie die Möglichkeit Ihre Runde über das Mordfleck und die Mordfleckwand auszudehnen. Bei gutem Wetter lohnt sich ein Aufstieg auf den Gipfel des Großen Finsterbergs (944m ü.NN.), der mit einer herrlichen Rundumsicht belohnt wird. Die Loipe ist sowohl klassisch gespurt als auch für Skating präpariert.

Point de départ de ce parcours circulaire est la fin de la rue Schmücke (parking ski-lift/hôtel Endspurt) ou le parking Kreuzwege (route vers Oberhof). Vous traversez le Rennsteig et pouvez ensuite profiter pleinement de la Forêt de Thuringe lors du tour autour du Finsterberg d'environ 4 km (longueur totale environ 8 km). Vous pouvez également prolonger votre parcours via Mordfleck et la paroi Mordfleckwand. Par beau temps, il vaut la peine de monter au sommet du Grand Finsterberg (944 m d'altitude), récompensé par une magnifique vue à 360°. The starting point for this circular route is the end of Schmücke street (ski lift parking lot/Hotel Endspurt) or the Kreuzwege parking lot (road to Oberhof). You cross the Rennsteig and then can enjoy the Thuringian Forest to the fullest on the round around the Finsterberg of about 4 km (total distance approx. 8 km). You also have the option to extend your route via Mordfleck and the Mordfleckwand. In good weather, a climb to the summit of the Großer Finsterberg (944 m above sea level) is worthwhile, rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view. The trail is prepared both for classic cross-country skiing and skating.
