Wundervolle Loipen - das bietet Masserberg. Der zentrale Anlaufpunkt ist der große Parkplatz mit Rennsteighaus am Ortseingang Masserberg. Von hier haben Sie die Gelegenheit in Richtung Osten und Westen in das zirka 80 Kilometer lange Langlaufnetz um Masserberg einzusteigen. Tipp: Am Rennsteighaus können Sie sich umziehen und Ihre Ski wachsen. Hier finden Sie einen Wachsbock, Stromanschluss und Abzieher. Ein absoluter Favorit bei Anfängern und auch Sportlern ist die Loipe Friedrichshöhe. Zum Start geht es nur kurz über die Straße und schon können Sie die Skier anschnallen. Sie passieren das Skistadion mit Loipengarten. Dort können auch Ungeübte ihre ersten Runden drehen und sich an Hinweistafeln über die richtige Technik informieren. Auf wunderbar breiten Wegen kommen Sie zur Eisfelder Ausspanne. Unterwegs lohnt sich der kleine Abstecher zur Werraquelle. Die Berghütte ist ein echter Einkehrtipp und direkt an das Loipennetz angebunden. Weiter geht’s um die Pechleite nach Friedrichshöhe. Auch dort laden mehrere Gasthöfe zum Rasten ein. Die gesamte Strecke ist übrigens auch für Skater bestens geeignet. Rechts und links des Weges verlaufen die klassischen Spuren und in der Mitte wird gewalzt. Zurück geht es wieder über die Eisfelder Ausspanne nach Masserberg zum Kurpark. Ein kleiner Geheimtipp ganz in der Nähe des Ausgangspunktes ist die Skatingloipe um den Fehrenberg. Sie bietet eine vier Kilometer lange, anspruchsvolle Strecke, ausschließlich präpariert für die Skatingtechnik.

Plusieurs auberges invitent également à la pause. D'ailleurs, tout le parcours convient parfaitement aux skateurs. Les traces classiques longent le chemin à droite et à gauche, et la piste centrale est damée. Le retour se fait à nouveau via Eisfelder Ausspanne jusqu'à Masserberg vers le parc thermal. Un petit secret tout près du point de départ est la piste de skating autour du Fehrenberg. Elle offre un parcours de quatre kilomètres, exigeant, exclusivement préparé pour la technique de skating.

Wonderful cross-country ski trails – that’s what Masserberg offers. The central starting point is the large car park with Rennsteighaus at the entrance to Masserberg. Classic tracks run on the right and left sides of the path, and the middle is groomed. The return journey goes back via Eisfelder Ausspanne to Masserberg to the spa park. A little insider tip close to the starting point is the skating trail around the Fehrenberg. It offers a challenging four-kilometer-long route, exclusively groomed for skating technique.
