Ausgangspunkt ist der Parkplatz am Obelisk Goldgräberstadt am Ortseingang von Steinheid. Direkt am Parkplatz steigt man in die Loipe ein. Sie führt allmählich abfallend entlang des Steinheider Weges über die Stockwiese bis zur Übersichtstafel. Hier läuft man rechts abbiegend weiter abwärts auf dem Steinheider Weg bis zu den Drei Buchen. Zurück geht es zunächst ansteigend über den Kallen- und den Breitenberg, in der Höhe der Sandlinie bis zur Infotafel wieder abfallend. Die 1,3 km zurück zum Parkplatz geht es über die weiten Wiesen, die bei starkem Wind, Nebel oder Schneetreiben den Langläufer fordern, bei Sonnenschein ihn belohnen mit glitzerndem Schnee und herrlichem Ausblick.

Le point de départ est le parking près de l'obélisque Goldgräberstadt à l'entrée de Steinheid. Directement au parking, on accède à la piste. Elle descend progressivement le long du Steinheider Weg via la prairie Stockwiese jusqu'au panneau d'information. Ici, prenez à droite pour continuer à descendre sur le Steinheider Weg jusqu'aux Drei Buchen. Le retour commence par une montée via Kallen- et Breitenberg, au niveau de la ligne de sable, puis descend à nouveau jusqu'au panneau d'information. Les 1,3 km jusqu'au parking se font à travers les vastes prairies qui, par vent fort, brouillard ou chute de neige, mettent le skieur de fond au défi, mais par beau temps, le récompensent avec une neige scintillante et une magnifique vue.

The starting point is the parking lot at the Goldgräberstadt obelisk at the entrance to Steinheid. You enter the trail directly from the parking lot. It gradually descends along the Steinheider Weg over the Stockwiese to the overview signboard. Here, you continue downhill turning right on the Steinheider Weg to the Drei Buchen. The way back first ascends over the Kallenberg and Breitenberg, then near the Sandlinie descends again to the information board. The 1.3 km back to the parking lot goes over the wide meadows, which challenge the skier with strong wind, fog, or snowfall and reward them with sparkling snow and magnificent views in sunshine.
