Dans les légendaires gorges des Dragons au sud d’Eisenach, les romantiques, les amoureux de la nature et les géologues trouveront tous leur bonheur. Dans cette gorge étroite, on marche sur des passerelles au-dessus d’un ruisseau tumultueux. De l’eau rugissante sous les pieds, des millions de gouttelettes scintillantes sur des rochers moussus séparés d’à peine plus d’un homme de largeur – les gorges des Dragons sont l’un des monuments géologiques les plus fascinants de Thuringe. Pendant des millions d’années, l’eau d’un ruisseau a creusé presque dix mètres de profondeur dans les rochers rouges sous la Wartburg. Un sentier a été aménagé sur les 200 mètres environ de la gorge, permettant de marcher directement au-dessus du ruisseau à travers ces formations rocheuses fantastiques. Vous commencez votre parcours dans le Mariental près de Eisenach et montez à travers l’impressionnante gorge des Landgraves jusqu’au Grand Rocher du Dragon. Après avoir profité de la superbe vue, vous continuez par la route des vins jusqu’à Hohe Sonne au bord du Rennsteig. Après une courte pause au Grill Hohe Sonne, vous descendez par les gorges des Dragons, à l’extrémité desquelles vous retrouvez le Mariental. Cette promenade est particulièrement passionnante et fascinante pour les enfants. Il y a beaucoup à découvrir et à explorer. ASTUCE : Pour tous les petits visiteurs, un quiz sur le dragon à emporter est disponible à l’office de tourisme sur la place du marché. Après la balade et en cas de bonnes réponses, un petit cadeau peut être récupéré. ATTENTION : Le Mariental est une destination très prisée, surtout le week-end où de nombreux excursionnistes visitent la région. Veuillez ne PAS vous garer le long de la route fédérale très fréquentée lorsque les parkings sont complets (stationnement interdit). Il est donc recommandé d’utiliser les transports publics. In the legendary Drachenschlucht south of Eisenach, romantics, nature lovers and geologists all get their money's worth. In the narrow gorge you hike on boardwalks over a rushing brook. Roaring water beneath your feet, millions of glittering water droplets on moss-covered rocks barely more than a man's width apart – the Drachenschlucht is one of Thuringia's most exciting geotopes. Over millions of years, the water of a brook has cut almost ten meters deep into the red rocks below the Wartburg. A path has been established through the approximately 200 meters long gorge, where you can walk directly above the small brook through the fantastic rock formations. You start your route in Mariental near Eisenach and walk through the impressive Landgrafenschlucht up to the Great Drachenstein. After enjoying the magnificent view there, follow the Wine Street to the Hohe Sonne directly on the Rennsteig. After a short break at the Grill Hohe Sonne, descend through the Drachenschlucht, ending back in Mariental. The route is especially exciting and fascinating for children. There is much to discover and explore. TIP: For all little guests, there is a dragon quiz to take away at the Tourist Information office at the market. After the hike, winners with correct answers can pick up a small gift. ATTENTION: Mariental is a popular excursion destination, especially on weekends many day trippers visit the region. Please do NOT park along the heavily traveled federal road if parking lots are full (parking prohibited). Public transport is therefore recommended. In der sagenumwobenen Drachenschlucht südlich von Eisenach kommen Romantiker, Naturliebhaber und Geologen gleichermaßen auf ihre Kosten. In der engen Klamm wandert man auf Stegen über einen rauschenden Bach. Tosendes Wasser unter den Füßen, Millionen glitzernde Wassertröpfchen an bemoosten Felsen, die nur wenig mehr als mannsbreit auseinander stehen – die Drachenschlucht ist eines der spannendsten Geodenkmäler Thüringens. Über Jahrmillionen hat sich das Wasser eines Baches fast zehn Meter tief in die roten Felsen unterhalb der Wartburg gegraben. Es wurde durch die gut 200 Meter lange Klamm ein Weg eingerichtet, auf dem man direkt über dem kleinen Bach durch die phantastischen Felsformationen spazieren kann. Sie  beginnen Ihre Tour im Mariental bei Eisenach und laufen durch die beeindruckende Landgrafenschlucht hinauf  bis zum Großen Drachenstein. Nachdem Sie dort die herrliche Aussicht genossen haben, geht es über die Weinstraße bis zur Hohen Sonne direkt am Rennsteig. Nach einer kleinen Verschnaufpause am Grill Hohe Sonne steigen Sie durch die Drachenschlucht hinab, an deren Ende das Mariental wieder auf Sie wartet. Die Tour ist vor allem für Kinder spannend und faszinierend. Es gibt viel zu entdecken und zu erkunden. TIPP: Für alle kleinen Gäste gibt es ein Drachenquiz zum Mitnehmen in der Tourist-Information am Markt. Dort kann man sich nach der Wanderung und bei richtiger Lösung ein kleines Geschenk abholen. ACHTUNG: Das Mariental ist ein beliebtes Ausflugsziel, insbesondere an den Wochenende besuchen viele Tagesausflügler die Region. Bitte parken Sie bei ausgelasteten Parkplätzen NICHT entlang der stark befahren Bundesstraße (Parkverbot). Die Anreise mit ÖPNV wird daher empfohlen.
