Auf dem ausgebauten Rundwanderweg um Oberhof kann man gemütlich, ohne allzu große Anstrengung, den Ort Oberhof umrunden. Der Weg lädt zum Wandern ein, ganz egal ob Sommer oder Winter. Zusätzlich ist er in den kalten Monaten Thüringer Winterradweg. Auch als Startpunkt zu allen Wanderrouten der Region ist dieser Weg bestens geeignet. Auf Ihrer Wanderung kommen Sie unter anderem am Sportgymnasium Oberhof, an der Schanzenanlage Wadeberg, dem Start der historischen Wadeberg-Bobbahn, der alten Golfwiese mit Ihren Lift- und Rodelanlagen sowie den Sportanlagen am Harzwald vorbei. Er führt über kurze Strecken über den Waldlehrpfad am Schlossberg, sowie über den Historischen Sportstättenwanderweg.

On the developed circular trail around Oberhof, you can comfortably walk around the town Oberhof without too much effort. The path invites you to hike, regardless of summer or winter. Additionally, in the cold months, it serves as a Thuringian winter bike path. It is also an ideal starting point for all hiking routes in the region. On your hike, you will pass by the Oberhof Sports Gymnasium, the Wadeberg ski jump facility, the start of the historic Wadeberg bob run, the Alte Golfwiese with its lift and sledding facilities, as well as the sports facilities at Harzwald. It leads for short sections over the forest educational path at Schlossberg, as well as over the Historic Sports Facilities Trail.

Sur le chemin circulaire développé autour d'Oberhof, on peut faire une promenade tranquille sans trop d'effort pour faire le tour de la ville Oberhof. Le chemin invite à la randonnée été comme hiver. De plus, pendant les mois froids, il sert de piste cyclable d'hiver de Thuringe. Il est également idéal comme point de départ pour toutes les randonnées dans la région. Lors de votre randonnée, vous passerez notamment par le lycée sportif d'Oberhof, les installations de tremplins de Wadeberg, le départ de la piste historique de bobsleigh de Wadeberg, l'ancienne pelouse de golf avec ses remontées mécaniques et ses pistes de luge, ainsi que par les installations sportives du Harzwald. Le chemin passe sur de courtes sections par le sentier didactique forestier au Schlossberg, ainsi que par le sentier historique des installations sportives.

schema:value @de	<p>Eine Einstiegmöglichkeit ist der Stadtplatz von Oberhof, hier finden Sie einen Parkplatz ( unterhalb des Oberen Hofes ), auch die Tourist-Info befindet sich gleich in der Nähe. Von hier aus können Sie den kleinen Park am Katzenteich durchqueren und folgen dem Weg bis zu der neu gebauten Schanzenanlage am Wadeberg. Mit ein wenig Glück können Sie hier das Trainig der Sportler beobachten. Nun geht es weiter bis zum Wadebergblick, von dem Sie einen schönen Blick auf die Rennrodelbahn und den Alpin-Skihang haben. Auch befand sich hier der Start der ehemaligen Wadebergbobbahn.</p> <p>Weiter geht es rechter Hand Richtung Herrenweg.</p> <p>An der Wegekreuzung Herrenweg geht es über die Strasse Richtung Friedhof , nach ca. 20m queren Sie die nächte Straße auf den Schloßberg.</p> <p>Nun geht es parallel der Straße Richtung Panoramahotel. Auch hier gibt es eine Möglichkeit zu Parken. Kurz vor dem Panoramahotel biegen Sie links ab auf den Waldlehrpfad.</p> <p>Diesen folgen Sie über den Schloßberg.</p> <p>An der nächsten Wegekreuzung geht es rechter Hand weiter. Nach einem kurzen Stück kommen Sie an die Brücke der Bundesstraße. Hier befindet sich auch der kostenlose Parkplatz im Gründle.</p> <p>Nachdem Sie diese überlaufen haben, biegen Sie rechts auf einen kleinen Waldweg und folgen diesem bis zum Waldkindergarten.</p> <p>Weiter geht es nun linker Hand Richtung Großvaterstuhl, zum nächsten Aussichtspunkt. Hier hat man einen schönen Blick Richtung Schneekopf, Kickelhahn und die Möglichkeit eine kurze Rast einzulegen.</p> <p>Kurz über die Straße geht es weiter durch ein kleines Waldstück entlang der Bundesstrasse. Nach ca. 500m kommen Sie an der Alten Glofwiese Oberhof an. Hier können Sie Sommer wie Winter eine rasante Abfahrt mit einem Schlitten unternehmen. Auch Skifahren ist hier in den Wintermonaten bei ausreichender Schneelage möglich.</p> <p>An der Bergstadtion der Snowtubing-Anlage biegen Sie rechts ab und gleich ein paar Meter weiter hinter der Brücke laufen Sie links einen kleinen Anstieg hinauf und kommen so zu den Sportanlagen am Harzwald. Sie folgen dem Weg weiter hinter dem Sporthotel entlang zum Sportgymnasium Oberhof.</p> <p>Hinter dem Sportgymnasium biegen Sie scharf nach rechts ab und kommen zum "alten Bobhaus" hier müssen Sie ein letztes Mal die Straße queren. Entlang der Tambacher Straße (der Hauptstraße) erreichen Sie wieder don Stadtplatz am Kurpark.</p>

Eine Einstiegmöglichkeit ist der Stadtplatz von Oberhof, hier finden Sie einen Parkplatz ( unterhalb des Oberen Hofes ), auch die Tourist-Info befindet sich gleich in der Nähe. Von hier aus können Sie den kleinen Park am Katzenteich durchqueren und folgen dem Weg bis zu der neu gebauten Schanzenanlage am Wadeberg. Mit ein wenig Glück können Sie hier das Trainig der Sportler beobachten. Nun geht es weiter bis zum Wadebergblick, von dem Sie einen schönen Blick auf die Rennrodelbahn und den Alpin-Skihang haben. Auch befand sich hier der Start der ehemaligen Wadebergbobbahn. Weiter geht es rechter Hand Richtung Herrenweg. An der Wegekreuzung Herrenweg geht es über die Strasse Richtung Friedhof , nach ca. 20m queren Sie die nächte Straße auf den Schloßberg. Nun geht es parallel der Straße Richtung Panoramahotel. Auch hier gibt es eine Möglichkeit zu Parken. Kurz vor dem Panoramahotel biegen Sie links ab auf den Waldlehrpfad. Diesen folgen Sie über den Schloßberg. An der nächsten Wegekreuzung geht es rechter Hand weiter. Nach einem kurzen Stück kommen Sie an die Brücke der Bundesstraße. Hier befindet sich auch der kostenlose Parkplatz im Gründle. Nachdem Sie diese überlaufen haben, biegen Sie rechts auf einen kleinen Waldweg und folgen diesem bis zum Waldkindergarten. Weiter geht es nun linker Hand Richtung Großvaterstuhl, zum nächsten Aussichtspunkt. Hier hat man einen schönen Blick Richtung Schneekopf, Kickelhahn und die Möglichkeit eine kurze Rast einzulegen. Kurz über die Straße geht es weiter durch ein kleines Waldstück entlang der Bundesstrasse. Nach ca. 500m kommen Sie an der Alten Glofwiese Oberhof an. Hier können Sie Sommer wie Winter eine rasante Abfahrt mit einem Schlitten unternehmen. Auch Skifahren ist hier in den Wintermonaten bei ausreichender Schneelage möglich. An der Bergstadtion der Snowtubing-Anlage biegen Sie rechts ab und gleich ein paar Meter weiter hinter der Brücke laufen Sie links einen kleinen Anstieg hinauf und kommen so zu den Sportanlagen am Harzwald. Sie folgen dem Weg weiter hinter dem Sporthotel entlang zum Sportgymnasium Oberhof. Hinter dem Sportgymnasium biegen Sie scharf nach rechts ab und kommen zum "alten Bobhaus" hier müssen Sie ein letztes Mal die Straße queren. Entlang der Tambacher Straße (der Hauptstraße) erreichen Sie wieder don Stadtplatz am Kurpark.
