Over 14.6 kilometers, the Extratour connects scenic expanses with historical depth. The starting point is the “House on the Border,” part of the Point Alpha border museum. Along the patrol road, original border installations and the former US camp make visible how close freedom and confrontation were. You walk through wide meadows, quiet forests, and the town of Geisa with its historic old town. In the Deschau Gallery, works by Dali and other great artists await you. Over the Gangolfi Hill, the route leads toward the legendary Rockenstuhl. You will follow the snake path through an old beech forest before resting at a rest area with audio stations in Wiesenfeld. A highlight is the “Cross of the Geisa Districts,” with views of the Hessian Kegelspiel. The “Path of Hope,” with its sculptures, forms the conclusion.

Sur 14,6 kilomètres, l’Extratour combine des espaces naturels vastes avec des profondeurs historiques. Le point de départ est la « Maison à la frontière », partie du musée frontalier Point Alpha. Le long du chemin de ronde, les installations frontalières originales et l'ancien camp américain montrent à quel point liberté et confrontation étaient proches. Tu traverses de larges prairies, des forêts silencieuses et la ville de Geisa avec son centre historique. À la galerie Deschauer, tu peux admirer des œuvres de Dali et d’autres grands artistes. Par le Gangolfiberg, le parcours continue vers le mystérieux Rockenstuhl. Le chemin des serpents te fait traverser un ancien hêtre avant d’arriver à Wiesenfeld, où tu peux te reposer dans une aire équipée de stations audio. Un point fort est la croix des Geiserämter avec sa vue sur le Kegelspiel de Hesse. Le « Sentier de l'espoir » clôture le parcours avec ses sculptures.

Auf 14,6 Kilometern verbindet die Extratour landschaftliche Weite mit historischen Tiefen. Startpunkt ist das „Haus auf der Grenze“, Teil des Grenzmuseums Point Alpha. Entlang des Kolonnenwegs machen originale Grenzanlagen und das frühere US-Camp sichtbar, wie nah Freiheit und Konfrontation beieinanderlagen. Du läufst durch weite Wiesen, stille Wälder und die Stadt Geisa mit ihrem historischen Stadtkern. In der Deschauer Galerie erwarten dich Werke von Dali und anderen großen Künstlern. Über den Gangolfiberg geht es weiter in Richtung des sagenumwobenen Rockenstuhls. Durch einen alten Buchenwald führt dich der Schlangenpfad, ehe du in Wiesenfeld an einem Rastplatz mit Audiostationen verweilen kannst. Ein Höhepunkt ist das „Kreuz der Geiserämter“ mit Ausblick auf das Hessische Kegelspiel.  Der „Weg der Hoffnung“ bildet mit seinen Skulpturen den Abschluss.
