Die Tour startet am Gasthof Grosch in Rödental. Auf dem Carl-Escher-Weg wandert man vorbei an der Kirche St. Johannis und dann entlag der Röden in Richtung Autobahn A73. Unter der Autobahnbrück führt ein Weg entlang, den man über eine Treppe erreicht. alternativ kann auch der Weg rechts am Bach entlang genutzt werden. In Richtung Veste Coburg wandert man durch lichten Laubwald. Der Weg ist sehr gut für Kinder und auch für Kinderwägen geeignet. Schon bald sieht man den alten Festungshof vor sich. Danach kommt man an einem Parkplatz vorbei und an der Haltestelle der GeckoBahn. Wem die Wandertour schon in den Beinen steckt, kann sich von hier aus bequem in die Innenstadt bringen lassen. Ein kurzer Zwischenstopp auf der Veste lohnt sich. Hier gibt es für Groß und Klein viel zu entdecken. Man folgt den Hinweisschildern in Richtung Innenstadt durch den Hofgarten hinunter zum Schlossplatz. Auf dem Weg dorthin kommt man am Naturkundemuseum Coburg vorbei. Auf dem Schlossplatz kann man das Landestheater und die Ehrenburg bestaunen. Über den historischen Marktplatz mit dem Prinz-Albert-Denkmal gelangt man nach wenigen Metern zum Hotel Goldener Anker, dem Zielort für diese Etappe.

Bientôt, vous apercevrez la vieille cour de la forteresse devant vous. Ensuite, vous passez un parking et un arrêt de la GeckoBahn. Si la randonnée se fait déjà sentir dans vos jambes, vous pouvez facilement vous laisser conduire en centre-ville depuis ici. Une courte halte à la Veste vaut la peine. Il y a beaucoup à découvrir pour petits et grands. Suivez les panneaux en direction du centre-ville à travers le jardin de la cour jusqu'à la place du château. Sur le chemin, vous passez devant le musée d'histoire naturelle de Coburg. Sur la place du château, vous pouvez admirer le théâtre régional et la Ehrenburg. En traversant la place historique avec le monument du prince Albert, vous arrivez en quelques mètres à l'hôtel Goldener Anker, la destination de cette étape.

The route starts at Gasthof Grosch in Rödental. On the Carl-Escher-Weg, you walk past the St. Johannis Church and then along the Röden towards the A73 motorway. There is a path under the motorway bridge, which can be reached by a staircase. Alternatively, the path on the right along the stream can also be used. Heading towards Veste Coburg, you walk through bright deciduous forest. The path is very suitable for children and also for strollers. Soon you will see the old fortress courtyard in front of you. After that, you pass a parking lot and the GeckoBahn stop. If the hike is already tiring, you can comfortably get to the city center from here. A short stop at the Veste is worth it. There is plenty to discover for young and old alike. You follow the signs towards the city center through the Hofgarten down to the Schlossplatz. On the way, you pass the Coburg Natural History Museum. At the Schlossplatz, you can admire the Landestheater and the Ehrenburg. Over the historic market square with the Prince Albert Monument, you reach the Hotel Goldener Anker, the destination for this stage, after a few meters.

Nach circa zwei Drittel der Strecke durch den Wald überquert man die Straße. Der Weg ist auf der anderen Seite gut zu erkennen. Er ist sehr gut ausgebaut und auch gut für Kinder und Kinderwägen geeignet.</p> <p>Weiter geht es durch das Waldstück, bis man an eine Abzweigung kommt. Man hält sich rechts und sieht bereits den alten Festungshof vor sich. Danach stößt man auf einen Parkplatz und die Haltestelle der GeckoBahn, die müde Wanderer bequem in die Innenstadt bringt. Man lässt die Veste rechts liegen und folgt den Hinweisschildern zur Innenstadt durch den Hofgarten hinunter zum Schlossplatz. Auf dem Weg kommt man am Naturkundemuseum Coburg vorbei. Vous laissez la Veste sur votre droite et suivez les panneaux vers le centre-ville à travers le jardin de la cour jusqu'à la place du château. En chemin, vous passez devant le musée d'histoire naturelle de Coburg. Une fois arrivé en bas, vous rejoignez la place historique puis l'hôtel Goldener Anker.</p>

Über den Kamm von Rödental kommt man über eine steile Treppe nach unten, wo ein Weg unter der Autobahnbrücke durchführt. Alternativ kann man auch den Weg rechts am Bach entlang laufen. Nun läuft man mehrere Kilometer durch lichten Laubwald in Richtung Veste Coburg. Nach circa zwei Drittel der Strecke durch den Wald überquert man die Straße. Der Weg ist auf der anderen Seite gut zu erkennen. Er ist sehr gut ausgebaut und auch gut für Kinder und Kinderwägen geeignet. Weiter geht es durch das Waldstück, bis man an eine Abzweigung kommt. Man hält sich rechts und sieht bereits den alten Festungshof vor sich. Danach stößt man auf einen Parkplatz und die Haltestelle der GeckoBahn, die müde Wanderer bequem in die Innenstadt bringt. Man lässt die Veste rechts liegen und folgt den Hinweisschildern zur Innenstadt durch den Hofgarten hinunter zum Schlossplatz. Auf dem Weg kommt man am Naturkundemuseum Coburg vorbei. Unten angekommen, gelangt man über den historischen Marktplatz zum Hotel Goldener Anker.
