Die tagesfüllende Rundwanderung startet an der Unteren Saline und dem Gradierwerk. Tief durchatmen ist hier die Devise, denn das Klima an dem imposanten Bauwerk gleicht dem an der Nordsee.  Von hier aus führt die Tour durch den urtümlichen Klauswald mit seinem Kaskadental und den beruhigenden "Wald für die Seele". Vorbei an den Wichtelhöhlen - etwa 20 unterschiedlich großen Felsformationen und Kleinsthöhlen aus Buntsandstein - geht es zum Golfclub. (Achtung Golfbälle! Bitte achte auf deine eigene Sicherheit.) Bestimmt kannst du hier auch einige Golfer beim Abschlag beobachten. Vorbei an der Ruine Eiringsburg geht es weiter zur Ruine Botenlauben - dem ältesten Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Von den beiden Burgtürmen aus kann man gut den ehemaligen Grundriss und die ganze Größe der Burg erahnen. Durch die Wälder im Osten der Stadt erreichst du schon bald den mächtigen Bismarckturm, bevor du wieder am Gradierwerk ankommst. Hier haben sich deine Beine eine Abkühlung im Kneipp-Becken redlich verdient!

La randonnée circulaire d'une journée commence à la Saline inférieure et au Gradierwerk. Prends une profonde inspiration, car le climat à ce bâtiment imposant est comparable à celui de la mer du Nord.  De là, la balade passe par la forêt primitive de Klauswald avec sa vallée des cascades et le "forêt pour l'âme" apaisant. En passant par les Wichtelhöhlen - environ 20 formations rocheuses et petites grottes de grès rouge de différentes tailles - tu atteins le Golfclub. (Attention aux balles de golf ! Prends soin de ta propre sécurité.) Tu pourras sûrement aussi observer quelques golfeurs au départ. En passant par la ruine Eiringsburg, la randonnée continue jusqu'à la ruine Botenlauben - le plus ancien emblème de la ville. Depuis les deux tours du château, on peut bien deviner l'ancien plan et toute la taille du château. À travers les forêts à l'est de la ville, tu atteins bientôt la puissante tour Bismarck, avant de revenir au Gradierwerk. Ici, tes jambes méritent une bonne rafraîchissante au bassin Kneipp !

The full-day circular hike starts at the Lower Saline and the Gradierwerk. Deep breath is the motto here, as the climate at this impressive structure resembles that of the North Sea.  From here, the tour leads through the primeval Klauswald with its Kaskadental and the calming "Forest for the Soul." Passing the Wichtelhöhlen — about 20 differently sized rock formations and small caves made of sandstone — it goes to the Golf Club. (Beware of golf balls! Please watch your own safety.) Surely you can also observe some golfers taking their shots here. Past the Eiringsburg ruins, the route continues to the Botenlauben ruins — the town's oldest landmark. From the two castle towers, you can clearly envision the former layout and the full size of the castle. Through the forests in the east of town, you will soon reach the mighty Bismarckturm before arriving back at the Gradierwerk. Here, your legs have well earned a cooldown in the Kneipp basin!

Au Gradierwerk (avec WC public), qui est en service de mai à octobre, le chemin quitte la vallée de la Saale et monte doucement, d'abord à travers une zone construite en direction de Sinnberg. En passant par le Giebelhof (paddocks pour chevaux, poules en liberté, etc.) et le jardin potager Rhönblick, il atteint la tour Bismarck. La tour Bismarck est ouverte pendant la saison, de Pâques à octobre. 88 marches mènent à la plateforme d'observation. De là, on peut presque entièrement surplomber le parcours Kissinger Runde. De plus, on peut voir au nord, au loin, plusieurs montagnes emblématiques de la Rhön Bavaroise. À commencer par la Platzer Kuppe, en passant par les Schwarzen Berge jusqu'à la plus haute montagne de la Rhön Bavaroise, le Kreuzberg, et ensuite le Heidelstein jusqu'à la Lange Rhön. Depuis la tour Bismarck, le chemin continue à monter vers Sinnberg. Ici, une halte au Café Sinnberg serait possible. Au point culminant de Sinnberg, la cabane de protection contre les intempéries Sinnberg invite également à la pause. Le chemin continue à descendre légèrement à travers la forêt, en passant par une fosse commune de la guerre déjà mentionnée, en passant par la statue de Saint Wendelin jusqu'au cimetière d'honneur des soldats tombés lors de la Première Guerre mondiale. En traversant la dite Panzerstraße, on atteint le Stationsberg. Le chemin monte légèrement jusqu'à la ruine du château Botenlauben (toilettes publiques au pied de la ruine). Le plus ancien bâtiment de la ville offre depuis ses deux tours de ruine une vue sur la vallée de la Saale avec les montagnes environnantes, mais sous un nouvel angle. Ensuite, ça descend raide vers Reiterswiesen. (un virage en épingle à la Kissinger Straße) Ici, il y a la possibilité de terminer ou commencer le parcours avec le bus de la ville (arrêt de bus au bord de la route). La Kissinger Straße est traversée. Par le Finsterberg, le chemin monte d'abord, puis descend à droite sur des chemins agricoles en direction d'Arnshausen. Après avoir traversé la route nationale B 286, le chemin passe au nord d'Arnshausen et passe sous les voies ferrées Bad Kissingen – Schweinfurt et Bad Kissingen – Gemünden par un tunnel. C'est à peu près à cet endroit que la moitié du parcours Kissinger Runde est terminée. Au bord de la forêt, le chemin, qui est aussi une piste cyclable, mène au golf club de Bad Kissingen (possibilité de pause, parkings). Une passerelle mène au-dessus de la Fränkische Saale. Ensuite, on traverse le terrain de golf. Attention : balles de golf volantes ! Tout de suite après, la route nationale B 287 est de nouveau traversée. Maintenant, ça monte en forêt, parfois raide, en passant par la cabane de protection Wichtelhöhlen jusqu'aux "Wichtelhöhlen", une formation de rochers de grès autour de laquelle gravitent de nombreuses légendes. À partir du bord de la forêt, nous sommes sur le "Chemin de la méditation", une section du parcours Kissinger Runde. Divers objets artistiques, citations bibliques et textes méditatifs invitent à la réflexion. Dans cette zone, il y a de belles vues sur le KissSalis-Therme, le quartier Garitz et aussi sur la ville de Bad Kissingen. À la fin de cette section, se trouve un parking à la périphérie de Garitz. La route est traversée. Le chemin descend jusqu'à ce qu'il faille à nouveau traverser la B 286 (arrêt du bus urbain), avant que le chemin ne replonge dans la forêt pendant un bon moment. Le Staffelsberg est parcouru à moitié. Le chemin fait partie, dans cette section, du "Sentier d'exploration forestière Ludwigsturm". Ici, on peut étudier des arbres forestiers indigènes nouvellement plantés grâce à des panneaux d'information, mais aussi admirer en partie de très vieux et majestueux chênes. En passant par la cabane de protection "Ilgenhalle" et la "prairie Ilgen", le chemin descend doucement vers la vallée des cascades. Avant d'y arriver, il faut traverser une dernière fois une route. Maintenant commence la partie paysagèrement probablement la plus belle du parcours Kissinger Runde. Par des cascades artificielles coule le ruisseau Kaskadenbach vers la Fränkische Saale. Au parking de randonnée Altenburger Haus, le chemin longe la route au bord de la forêt. Ensuite, nous traversons la route nationale. Le chemin traverse les prairies du terrain de l'aérodrome et mène par un pont au Gradierwerk, point de départ du parcours Kissinger Runde.

Der Bismarckturm ist während der Saison von Ostern bis Oktober geöffnet. 88 Stufen führen zur Aussichtsplattform. Von hier kann man die Kissinger Runde fast komplett überblicken. Darüber hinaus kann man in nördlicher Richtung in der Ferne einige markante Berge der Bayerischen Rhön sehen. Angefangen von der Platzer Kuppe über die Schwarzen Berge bis zum höchsten Berg der Bayerischen Rhön, dem Kreuzberg, und über den Heidelstein bis in die Lange Rhön. Vom Bismarck-Turm aus verläuft der Weg weiter bergauf zum Sinnberg. Hier wäre eine Einkehr im Café Sinnberg möglich. Der Weg ist in diesem Abschnitt Teil des „Walderkundungspfades Ludwigsturm“. Hier kann man neu gepflanzte, heimische Waldbäume anhand von Hinweistafeln studieren, aber auch z. T. sehr alte, stattliche Eichen bewundern. Vorbei an der Schutzhütte „Ilgenhalle“ und an der „Ilgenwiese“ führt der Weg sanft abwärts Richtung Kaskadental. Bevor dieses erreicht wird, muss ein letztes Mal eine Straße überquert werden. Nun beginnt der landschaftlich wahrscheinlich schönste Teil der „Kissinger Runde“. Über künstlich angelegte Kaskaden plätschert der Kaskadenbach der Fränkischen Saale entgegen. Am Wanderparkplatz Altenburger Haus führt der Weg parallel zur Straße am Waldrand entlang. Anschließend überqueren wir die Bundesstraße. Der Weg durchquert die Wiesen des Flugplatzgeländes und führt über eine Brücke zum Gradierwerk, den Ausgangspunkt der „Kissinger Runde“.

Am Ende dieses Teilabschnittes liegt ein Parkplatz am Ortsrand von Garitz. Die Straße wird überquert. Der Weg verläuft bergab bis abermals nun die B 286 überquert werden muss (Haltestelle Stadtbus), bevor der Weg wieder für längere Zeit in den Wald eintaucht. Der Staffelsberg wird halb umrundet. Der Weg ist in diesem Abschnitt Teil des „Walderkundungspfades Ludwigsturm“. Hier kann man neu gepflanzte, heimische Waldbäume anhand von Hinweistafeln studieren, aber auch z. T. sehr alte, stattliche Eichen bewundern.</p> <p>Vorbei an der Schutzhütte „Ilgenhalle“ und an der „Ilgenwiese“ führt der Weg sanft abwärts Richtung Kaskadental. Bevor dieses erreicht wird, muss ein letztes Mal eine Straße überquert werden. Nun beginnt der landschaftlich wahrscheinlich schönste Teil der „Kissinger Runde“. Über künstlich angelegte Kaskaden plätschert der Kaskadenbach der Fränkischen Saale entgegen. Am Wanderparkplatz Altenburger Haus führt der Weg parallel zur Straße am Waldrand entlang. Anschließend überqueren wir die Bundesstraße. Der Weg durchquert die Wiesen des Flugplatzgeländes und führt über eine Brücke zum Gradierwerk, den Ausgangspunkt der „Kissinger Runde“.</p>

The oldest building in the town offers a view of the Saale valley and the surrounding mountains from its two tower ruins — just from a new perspective.</p> <p>Now it goes steeply downhill to Reiterswiesen (serpentine to Kissinger Straße). Here there is an option to end or begin the route with the city bus (stop at the road). The Kissinger Straße is crossed. Over the Finsterberg, the path first leads uphill, then downhill to the right over field paths towards Arnshausen. After crossing the federal road B 286, the path passes north of Arnshausen and tunnels under the railway tracks Bad Kissingen – Schweinfurt or Bad Kissingen – Gemünden. La Kissinger Straße est traversée. Par le Finsterberg, le chemin monte d'abord, puis descend à droite sur des chemins agricoles en direction d'Arnshausen. Après avoir traversé la route nationale B 286, le chemin passe au nord d'Arnshausen et passe sous les voies ferrées Bad Kissingen – Schweinfurt et Bad Kissingen – Gemünden par un tunnel. À partir du bord de la forêt, nous sommes sur le "Chemin de la méditation", une section du parcours Kissinger Runde. Divers objets artistiques, citations bibliques et textes méditatifs invitent à la réflexion. Dans cette zone, il y a de belles vues sur le KissSalis-Therme, le quartier Garitz et aussi sur la ville de Bad Kissingen. À la fin de cette section, se trouve un parking à la périphérie de Garitz. La route est traversée. Le chemin descend jusqu'à ce qu'il faille à nouveau traverser la B 286 (arrêt du bus urbain), avant que le chemin ne replonge dans la forêt pendant un bon moment. Le Staffelsberg est parcouru à moitié. Le chemin fait partie, dans cette section, du "Sentier d'exploration forestière Ludwigsturm". Ici, on peut étudier des arbres forestiers indigènes nouvellement plantés grâce à des panneaux d'information, mais aussi admirer en partie de très vieux et majestueux chênes.</p> <p>En passant par la cabane de protection "Ilgenhalle" et la "prairie Ilgen", le chemin descend doucement vers la vallée des cascades. Avant d'y arriver, il faut traverser une dernière fois une route. Maintenant commence la partie paysagèrement probablement la plus belle du parcours Kissinger Runde. Par des cascades artificielles coule le ruisseau Kaskadenbach vers la Fränkische Saale. Au parking de randonnée Altenburger Haus, le chemin longe la route au bord de la forêt. Ensuite, nous traversons la route nationale. Le chemin traverse les prairies du terrain de l'aérodrome et mène par un pont au Gradierwerk, point de départ du parcours Kissinger Runde.</p>
