On this winter hiking trail, you will find a variety of fascinating and interesting places from long past times, but also from our more recent history. Starting at the historic Grenzadler, once the state border between the Prussian royal house and the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha. In the middle of this hike, you will find border stone 16, which commemorates the history of Dietzel von Geba. Shortly before the end of your winter hike, you will come to the forest worker monument, which commemorates the heavy reforestation efforts in the Thuringian Forest from 1946 to 1949. At the end, the Rondell awaits you as a monument from our transportation history about road construction from the years 1830 to 1832. You can hike this winter trail in both directions, and there is a bus line at the respective start and end points. At Grenzadler, you will find several dining options, including the Thuringian Hut, Schanzenbaude, or the Cafe Biathlon Inn in the biathlon arena.

Sur ce sentier de randonnée hivernale, vous trouverez de nombreux lieux intéressants et dignes d'être vus, datant de temps très anciens mais aussi de notre histoire plus récente. Il commence au historique Grenzadler, autrefois frontière d'État entre la Maison royale de Prusse et le duché de Saxe-Cobourg et Gotha. Au milieu de cette randonnée, vous trouverez la borne-frontière 16, qui rappelle l'histoire du Dietzel de Geba. Peu avant la fin de votre randonnée hivernale, vous arrivez au monument des forestiers, commémorant les importantes replantations de la Forêt de Thuringe entre 1946 et 1949. Enfin, le Rondell vous attend comme monument de notre histoire des transports, à propos de la construction routière entre 1830 et 1832. Ce sentier hivernal peut être parcouru dans les deux sens ; il y a aussi une ligne de bus aux points de départ et d'arrivée respectifs. Au Grenzadler, vous trouverez plusieurs établissements gastronomiques, que ce soit la Thuringer Hütte, la Schanzenbaude ou dans l'arène de biathlon le Café Biathlon Inn.

Auf diesem Winterwanderweg finden Sie eine Vielzahl sehenswerter und interessanter Orte, aus lange vergangenen Zeiten, aber auch aus unserer jüngeren Geschichte. Beginnent am historischen Gernzadler, einstmals die Staatsgrenze zwischen dem Könighaus Preußen und dem Herzogtum Sachsen-Coburg und Gotha. In der Mitte dieser Wanderung finden Sie den Grenzstein 16, der an die Geschichte des Dietzel von Geba erinnert. Kurz vor Ende Ihrer Winterwanderung kommen Sie zum Forstarbeiterdenkmal, das an die schweren Aufforstungen des Thüringer Waldes aus dem Jahren 1946 bis 1949 erinnert. Zum Abschluss wartet noch das Rondell auf Sie, als Denkmal aus unserer Verkehrsgeschichte  über den Straßenbau aus den Jahren 1830 bis 1832. Diesen Winterwanderweg können Sie in beide Richtungen begehen, auch gibt es an den jeweiligen Start- bzw. Endpunkten eine Buslinie. Am Grenzadler finden Sie mehrere gastronomische Einrichtungen, ob Thüringer Hütte, Schanzenbaude oder in der Biathlonarena das Cafe Biathlon Inn.
