Die einzelnen Tafeln geben Auskunft über Sehens- und Wissenswertes zur heimischen Tier- und Pflanzenwelt, zum Talsperrenbau und der Nutzung des Wassers sowie zur Geologie des Vogtlandes mit seinen bis zu 550 Millionen Jahre alten Gesteinen. Der Naturlehrpfad Geigenbachtalsperre (gelegen zwischen den Ortschaften Werda und Poppengrün) bietet Anschluss an die Felsenwege 3a und 3b. Beidseits der Sperrmauer, die in den vergangenen Jahren umfassend saniert wurde, laden Bänke zum Ausruhen und Betrachten der Landschaft ein. Es ist möglich nach der Station 8 über die Staumauer zur Station 14 abzukürzen. (Für Kinderwagen empfehlenswert, dann ca. 6,1 km lang).

Les panneaux individuels fournissent des informations sur la faune et la flore locales, la construction du barrage et l'utilisation de l'eau ainsi que sur la géologie du Vogtland avec ses roches âgées jusqu'à 550 millions d'années. Le sentier didactique naturel de Geigenbachtalsperre (situé entre les localités de Werda et Poppengrün) offre une connexion aux chemins des rochers 3a et 3b. Des bancs des deux côtés du mur de retenue, qui a été entièrement rénové ces dernières années, invitent à se reposer et à contempler le paysage. Il est possible, après la station 8, de raccourcir le parcours en passant par le mur de retenue jusqu'à la station 14. (Accessible aux poussettes, environ 6,1 km).

The individual panels provide information about interesting and noteworthy facts regarding the local fauna and flora, dam construction and water use, as well as the geology of the Vogtland region with its rocks up to 550 million years old. The Geigenbachtalsperre nature trail (located between the towns of Werda and Poppengrün) connects to the rock paths 3a and 3b. Benches on both sides of the dam, which has been extensively renovated in recent years, invite you to rest and enjoy the landscape. It is possible to shorten the route from station 8 over the dam to station 14. (Recommended for strollers, then approx. 6.1 km long).
