Rund 10 km lang wandern wir auf dem Naturlehrpfad und lernen die Flora und Fauna entlang der Tour näher kennen. Über den Weg verteilt entdecken wir immer mal wieder Infotafeln, die uns mit Wissen über die Pflanzen- und Tierwelt versorgen: über satte Streuobstwiesen, Feuchtwiesen, alte und abgestorbene Bäume als Lebensraum, den artenreichen Laubmischwald, aber auch über dort lebende Tiere wie Fledermäuse, Spechte und verschiedene Vögel. Neben den Informationen erhalten wir weitreichende Ausblicke über die sanfte Hügellandschaft des Coburger Landes. An bestimmten Abschnitten entdecken wir sogar die Veste Coburg in der Ferne. Die abwechslungsreichen Wege führen uns durch den Schlosspark Rosenau mit dem gleichnamigen Schloss, Unterwohlsbach und Oberwohlsbach, durch das Naturschutzgebiet „Schwengbrunn“ sowie am Ufer des Schwanensees entlang, an dem alte Weiden für einen märchenhaften Charme sorgen. Dabei erwarten uns satte Wiesen, Feldwege, schmale Pfade durch den Wald sowie geteerte Straßen.

Nous marchons sur environ 10 km le long du sentier d'interprétation nature et apprenons à mieux connaître la flore et la faune tout au long du parcours. Dispersées sur le chemin, des panneaux d'information nous fournissent des connaissances sur les plantes et les animaux : sur des vergers riches, des prairies humides, de vieux arbres morts en tant qu'habitats, la forêt mixte feuillue riche en espèces, ainsi que sur les animaux qui y vivent comme les chauves-souris, les pics et divers oiseaux. En plus des informations, nous profitons de vues étendues sur le paysage vallonné doux de la région de Cobourg. À certains endroits, nous apercevons même au loin la forteresse de Cobourg. Les chemins variés nous mènent à travers le parc du château de Rosenau avec son château éponyme, Unterwohlsbach et Oberwohlsbach, la réserve naturelle « Schwengbrunn » ainsi que le long de la rive du lac Schwanensee, où de vieux saules ajoutent un charme féerique. Nous découvrons des prés verdoyants, des chemins de campagne, des sentiers étroits à travers la forêt ainsi que des routes asphaltées.

We hike about 10 km on the nature trail and get to know the flora and fauna along the route more closely. Along the path, we repeatedly discover information boards that provide us with knowledge about the plant and animal life: about lush orchards, wet meadows, old and dead trees as habitats, the species-rich mixed deciduous forest, but also about animals living there like bats, woodpeckers, and various birds. Besides the information, we gain wide-ranging views over the gentle hilly landscape of the Coburg region. At certain sections, we can even see Veste Coburg in the distance. The varied paths lead us through Rosenau Castle Park with the castle of the same name, Unterwohlsbach and Oberwohlsbach, through the "Schwengbrunn" nature reserve, as well as along the shore of Swan Lake, where old willows add a fairy-tale charm. We encounter lush meadows, field paths, narrow forest trails, as well as paved roads.

Auf dem Weg begleiten uns stets Wegmarkierungen: ein weißes Rechteck mit einem roten Punkt in der Mitte zeigt uns, dass wir uns auf dem richtigen Weg befinden.</p> <p>Vom Parkplatz gehen wir in nördliche Richtung auf der Teerstraße entlang, bis wir an der Kreuzung den Weg für Fußgänger geradeaus nehmen. An der Gabelung gehen wir nach links, um kurz darauf nach rechts abzubiegen. Wir laufen geradeaus, bis wir an der Gabelung kurz vor dem Schwanensee nach links und anschließend nach rechts gehen, um am Ufer des Sees entlangzulaufen.</p> <p>An der T-Kreuzung am Ende des Sees biegen wir nach links, um dann an den nächsten beiden Abbiegemöglichkeiten nach rechts zu gehen.</p> <p>Wir biegen nach links auf die Hauptstraße, an der wir ca. 300 m entlanggehen. Hier müssen wir besonders auf den Verkehr aufpassen, da kein Wanderweg vorhanden ist. Nach der Brücke gehen wir nach rechts und folgen der Teerstraße, bis wir nach rechts auf die Schotterstraße biegen. Nach der teils bewaldeten Schotterstraße laufen wir an der Kreuzung nach links auf die wenig befahrene Teerstraße in Richtung Eisfeld/Oberlauter. Nach rund 1 km gehen wir nach rechts auf den Schotterweg, der uns bergab durch ein kurzes Waldstück führt.</p> <p>Nach dem kleinen Bach gehen wir nach links und folgen dem Wegverlauf, bis wir an der nächsten T-Kreuzung erneut den linken Weg nehmen. Die folgende Kreuzung überqueren wir geradeaus und halten uns anschließend links, bis wir eine Schranke erreichen.</p> <p>Links vor der Schranke führt uns ein schwer erkennbarer Wiesenpfad in den Wald hinein. Wir folgen dem Weg nach links und gehen dann immer geradeaus, bis wir nach rund 1,3 km nach rechts abbiegen. Bei ca. 6 km halten wir uns an der Gabelung rechts und folgen dem Wegverlauf, bis wir an eine Kurve mit einem Schotterweg kommen. Hier können wir einen kurzen Abstecher nach links zur Ruine Lauterburg machen, ansonsten gehen wir weiter nach rechts den Berg hinunter. Nach ca. 100 m gehen wir an der Gabelung nach links und kommen dann nach Oberwohlsbach.</p> <p>Wir folgen der Lauterburgstraße und laufen – bevor es geradeaus in die Itzgasse geht – nach rechts in den Fußgängerweg. Bei der nächsten Kurve führt uns ein geteerter Weg nach links in Richtung Unterwohlsbach. An der Kreuzung in Unterwohlsbach gehen wir weiter geradeaus entlang der Rosenauer Straße, bis wir den Schlosspark Rosenau erreichen.</p> <p>An der ersten Kreuzung folgen wir dem Naturlehrpfad nach links, um nach den Treppen rechts abzubiegen. Wir laufen am Waldrand entlang und an zahlreichen Treppen vorbei, die rechts nach oben zum Schloss Rosenau führen. Hier haben wir die Möglichkeit, einen kurzen Abstecher zum Schloss zu machen. Ansonsten gehen wir bei der nächsten Kreuzung nach rechts, halten uns dann links und kommen wieder am Parkplatz an.</p>

We cross the following intersection straight ahead and then keep left until we reach a barrier.</p> <p>Left before the barrier, a hardly visible meadow path leads us into the forest. We follow the path to the left and then go straight ahead until after about 1.3 km we turn right. At about 6 km, we keep right at the fork and follow the path until we reach a curve with a gravel path. Here we can make a short detour left to Lauterburg ruin; otherwise, we continue right down the hill. After about 100 m, we turn left at the fork and then reach Oberwohlsbach.</p> <p>We follow Lauterburgstraße and, before it goes straight into Itzgasse, turn right into the pedestrian path. At the next curve, a paved path leads us left towards Unterwohlsbach. At the intersection in Unterwohlsbach, we continue straight along Rosenauer Straße until we reach Rosenau Castle Park.</p> <p>At the first intersection, we follow the nature trail left to turn right after the stairs. We walk along the forest edge and past numerous stairs that lead right up to Rosenau Castle. Here we have the opportunity to make a short detour to the castle. Otherwise, at the next intersection, we turn right, then left and arrive back at the parking lot.</p>

Nous traversons la croisette tout droit et continuons à gauche jusqu’à une barrière.</p> <p>À gauche avant la barrière, un sentier à peine visible nous emmène dans la forêt à travers une prairie. Nous suivons ce chemin à gauche et continuons tout droit jusqu’à tourner à droite après environ 1,3 km. Vers 6 km, à la bifurcation, nous tournons à droite et suivons le chemin jusqu’à un virage avec une route de gravier. Ici, nous pouvons faire un court détour à gauche vers la ruine de Lauterburg, sinon nous continuons à droite en descendant la colline.
