Die Tour startete in Saalfeld und führt über die Zeiss-Brücke auf dem Radweg nach Röblitz. Bevor die Tour in Richtung Uhlstädter Heide abzweigt ist am Horizont die Burg Ranis zu sehen. Nach ein paar Kilometern auf Forst- und Waldwegen erreicht man die Burgruine Töpfersdorf, die bis 1850 bewirtschaftet wurde. Von hier aus ist es nicht mehr weit zu den Saalleiten, ein etwa zwei Kilometer langer anspruchsvoller Singletrail direkt oberhalb der Saale, welcher bis kurz vor Rückersdorf reicht. Im Ort Weißen kann das Schloss Weißenburg besichtigt und im Biergarten eine Rast eingelegt werden. Rasant geht es weiter auf Forstwegen und einfachen Singletrails bis nach Langenschade. Eine weitere Berg- und Talfahrt über den Mühlberg und den Lindingberg führt schließlich zurück ins Tal nach Remschütz und vorbei an den Sandbergen. Hier wurde im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert Sand und Sandstein abgebaut. Danach führt der Weg wieder zurück zum Ausgangspunkt der Tour.

Le parcours commence à Saalfeld et passe par le pont Zeiss sur la piste cyclable vers Röblitz. Avant que le parcours ne bifurque en direction de la forêt d'Uhlstädter, on peut voir au loin le château de Ranis. Après quelques kilomètres sur des chemins forestiers, on atteint la ruine du château de Töpfersdorf, exploitée jusqu’en 1850. De là, il n’est plus loin jusqu’aux Saalleiten, un single technique de deux kilomètres environ situé juste au-dessus de la Saale, qui s’étend jusqu’à peu avant Rückersdorf. Dans le village de Weißen, il est possible de visiter le château de Weissenburg et de faire une pause au biergarten. Le parcours continue rapidement sur des chemins forestiers et des singles simples jusqu’à Langenschade. Une autre montée et descente via le Mühlberg et le Lindingberg ramène finalement dans la vallée à Remschütz, en passant par les Sandberge. Ici, du sable et du grès étaient exploités au 19e et 20e siècle. Ensuite, le chemin ramène au point de départ du parcours.
