Der Haineck-Radweg ist ein etwa 11 km langer Radweg. Er führt im Tal des Lämpertsbaches von der Grundmühle bei Ebenshausen über Nazza bis zum Hallungener Schwimmbad Ritzenhausen.  Sehenswürdigkeiten wie die Burgruine Haineck und die Fachwerkhäuser in Hallungen säumen den Haineck-Radweg. Von der Ruine bietet sich ein traumhafter Ausblick über den Hainich. Mit nur wenigen Steigungen erreichen Radfahrer das idyllische Dorf Hallungen. Am Ortsausgang lockt das Freibad am Fuße der bewaldeten Hainich-Hänge. Nach kurvenreicher Fahrt landet man in Heyerode, dem Eingangstor in das Eichsfeld. Hier gibt es Anschluss an die Unstrut-Werra-Radroute, die Mühlhausen mit Treffurt verbindet.

La piste cyclable Haineck est une piste d'environ 11 km. Elle traverse la vallée du ruisseau Lämpertsbach de la Grundmühle près d'Ebenshausen via Nazza jusqu'à la piscine en plein air de Hallungen Ritzenhausen. Des curiosités telles que la ruine du château Haineck et les maisons à colombages de Hallungen bordent la piste cyclable Haineck. De la ruine, on bénéficie d'une vue splendide sur le Hainich. Avec seulement quelques montées, les cyclistes atteignent le village idyllique de Hallungen. À la sortie du village, la piscine au pied des pentes boisées de Hainich invite à la baignade. Après un parcours sinueux, on arrive à Heyerode, la porte d'entrée de l'Eichsfeld. On y trouve une connexion avec la piste cyclable Unstrut-Werra, qui relie Mühlhausen à Treffurt.

The Haineck cycle route is a cycling path about 11 km long. It leads through the valley of the Lämpertsbach from Grundmühle near Ebenshausen via Nazza to the Hallungen outdoor pool Ritzenhausen.  Attractions such as the Haineck Castle Ruins and the half-timbered houses in Hallungen line the Haineck cycle route. From the ruins, there is a breathtaking view over the Hainich. With only a few inclines, cyclists reach the idyllic village of Hallungen. At the outskirts, the outdoor pool at the foot of the forested Hainich slopes invites visitors. After a winding ride, you arrive in Heyerode, the gateway to the Eichsfeld. Here there is a connection to the Unstrut-Werra cycle route, which connects Mühlhausen with Treffurt.

thuecat:directions @de Ebenshausen - Nazza - Burgruine Haineck - Hallungen - Heyerode An der Werrabrücke in Ebenshausen zweigt der Haineck-Radweg am rechten Flussufer zunächst in östliche Richtung vom Werratal-Radweg ab. Nach ca. 1 km Straßennutzung schlängelt sich der Radweg zwischen dem Lembertsbach und dem Waldrand auf feinem Splitt durch Wiesen und Weiden in Richtung Norden. Die Steigungen sind unerheblich. In Nazza erhebt sich über dem Tal die Burgruine Haineck, die Namensgeberin des Radweges ist.  Landgraf Balthasar sicherte um 1392 mit der Burg Haineck die Nord-West-Grenze seiner Thüringer Landgrafschaft. Später diente die Burg als Schutz vor plündernden Soldaten des Dreißigjährigen Krieges. Nazza wird im Osten von einer mittelalterlichen Burgruine überragt. Die zwei Türme und die massiven Mauern zeugen von der strategischen Bedeutung der Anlage. Nach wechselvoller Geschichte verfiel die Burg seit dem 17. Jahrhundert. Sie wurde durch den Heimat- und Verkehrsverein Mihla gesichert. Mittlerweile ist der 18 Meter hohe Südturm zum Aussichtsturm umgebaut. In herrlicher Landschaft ist die Burguine Haineck ein lohnendes Ausflugsziel mit traumhaftem Blick über den Nationalpark Hainich. Der nächste Fachwerk-Ort ist Hallungen. Am Ortsausgang lockt das Freibad am Fuße der bewaldeten Hainich-Hänge. Auf kurvenreicher Straße wird Heyerode erreicht. Hier ist schon das Eichsfeld spürbar. Dies sieht man an der Architektur, aber auch an den kulinarischen Angeboten. Im Ort ist der Anschluss an die Unstrut-Werra-Radroute, die Mühlhausen (Unstrut-Radweg) mit Treffurt (Werratal-Radweg) verbindet.

After about 1 km of road use, the cycle path winds its way between the Lembertsbach and the forest edge on fine gravel through meadows and pastures heading north. The inclines are negligible. In Nazza, the Haineck Castle Ruins rise above the valley and are the namesake of the cycle route.  Landgrave Balthasar secured the northwest border of his Thuringian landgraviate around 1392 with Haineck Castle. Later, the castle served as protection against marauding soldiers during the Thirty Years' War. Nazza is overlooked to the east by a medieval castle ruin. The two towers and the massive walls testify to the strategic importance of the site. After a tumultuous history, the castle has been falling into ruin since the 17th century. It was secured by the local heritage and traffic association Mihla. Meanwhile, the 18-meter-high south tower has been converted into a viewing tower. In a magnificent landscape, the Haineck castle ruin is a worthwhile excursion destination with a breathtaking view over the Hainich National Park. The next half-timbered village is Hallungen. At the outskirts of the village, the outdoor pool at the foot of the forested Hainich slopes invites visitors. On a winding road, Heyerode is reached. Here, the Eichsfeld region is already noticeable. This can be seen in the architecture as well as in the culinary offerings. In the village, there is a connection to the Unstrut-Werra cycle route, which connects Mühlhausen (Unstrut cycle route) with Treffurt (Werra Valley cycle route).
