Die Glöcknerrunde ist eine abwechslungsreiche Rundwanderung entlang sehenswerter Highlights. Zu Beginn kommen Sie an der imposanten Schanzenanlage der Trainigsstätte "Alte Ruhl" vorbei. Die Storchswiese läd zum Relaxen ein, nicht weit von der historischen "Schillerbuche" entfernt. Doch richtig ins Staunen kommen Sie, wenn Sie am beliebten Ausflugsziel dem "Ehrenmal Glöckner" angekommen sind. Hier können Sie sich kaum von der Schönheit der Natur loslösen, ehe es durch den "Ungeheuren Grund" wieder zurück zum Parkplatz Schützenhaus geht.

La boucle Glöcknerrunde est une randonnée circulaire variée le long de sites remarquables. Au début, vous passez près de l'impressionnant tremplin de la station d'entraînement "Alte Ruhl". La prairie des cigognes invite à la détente, non loin du chêne historique "Schillerbuche". Mais vous serez véritablement émerveillé à l'arrivée au site d'excursion populaire, le "Monument aux morts Glöckner". Il est difficile de quitter la beauté de la nature ici avant de revenir par le "Ungeheuren Grund" au parking "Schützenhaus".

The Glöcknerrunde is a varied circular hike along remarkable highlights. At the beginning, you pass the impressive ski jumping facility of the training site "Alte Ruhl". The Storchswiese invites you to relax, not far from the historic "Schillerbuche". But you will be truly amazed when you reach the popular excursion destination "Ehrenmal Glöckner". schema:value @de Startpunkt der ca. 7 bis 10 km langen Tour ist der Parkplatz "Schützenhaus". Gleich nebenan befindet sich auch das Ruhlaer Waldbad. Folgen Sie der Markierung grünes Dreieck und gehen Sie links am Schützenhaus vorbei in Richtung der Schanzenanlage "Alte Ruhl". Hier wird der Nachwuchs im Bereich Skispringen/ Nordische Kombination trainiert.  Nach Überquerung der Straße gelangen Sie zur Storchswiese, welche im Winter sehr beliebt bei den Skilangläufern ist. Nun geht es durch das Beerwindental weiter zur "Schillerbuche" auf den Rennsteig. Oben angekommen, lädt der "Imbiss zur Wallfahrt" auf eine Thüringer Bratwurst ein. Frisch gestärkt können Sie nun den Abstecher zum Lutherdenkmal bei Steinbach in Angriff nehmen. Hin und Zurück sind es insgesamt nur 3 Kilometer. Das Denkmal erinnert an die Scheinentführung Martin Luthers am 4. Mai 1521 auf die Wartburg. Dort übersetzte er das Neue Testament in die deutsche Sprache. Über den Lutherweg geht es wieder zurück zur "Schillerbuche". Ein Stück entlang der Straße folgend, kommen Sie am "Glasbachstein" vorbei. Dieser Stein sollte einst nach Weimar transportiert werden, doch unter der Last des Steines zerbrach das Fuhrwerk. Seitdem ist er ein markanter Punkt an der Kreuzung Richtung Winterstein/ Bad Liebenstein und Brotterode. Überqueren Sie nun erneut die Straße, so gelangen Sie wieder auf den Kammweg des Thüringer Waldes, dem Rennsteig. Sicher nutzte auch Luther diesen historischen Grenzweg auf seinen Reisen durch das Thüringer Land. Nach knapp einem Kilometer zweigt linkerhand, ca. 30 m nach der Finnhütte, ein schmaler Weg vom Rennsteig ab. Nach wenigen Metern erreichen Sie nun das "Ehrenmal Glöckner", auch "Klöckler" genannt. Eine Sitzgruppe lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Inschriften auf dem großen Granitfelsen erinnern an die im Ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen Mitglieder des Rennsteigvereins. Nach ihrer Rast steigen Sie nun die letzten Meter zum Glöckner auf. Nehmen Sie Platz auf dem Felsthron, dieser ist umgeben von einem Meer aus Granitblöcken und ein beliebtes Fotomotiv.  Lassen Sie Ihren Blick über das Werratal schweifen, am Horizont können Sie  bereits die Röhn erkennen. Nur schwer kann man sich von diesem schönen Ort loslösen. Nach wenigen Metern haben Sie den Rennsteig wieder erreicht. Die Große Meilerstätte kommt nach ca. 500 Metern, hier heißt es nun auch Abschied nehmen vom Rennsteig. Biegen Sie nun links, Richtung Klinzingshütte ab und gehen Sie durch den Ungeheueren Grund stetig bergab Richtung Ferienhaus Lichtung zu Ihrem Ausgangspunkt "Schützenhaus" zurück.

Suivez le balisage du triangle vert et passez à gauche du Schützenhaus en direction du tremplin de saut à ski "Alte Ruhl". C'est ici que les jeunes athlètes s'entraînent en saut à ski et combiné nordique. Après avoir traversé la route, vous arriverez à la prairie des cigognes, très appréciée en hiver par les skieurs de fond. Ensuite, vous continuez à travers la vallée de Beerwinde jusqu'au "Schillerbuche" sur le Rennsteig. Une fois arrivé en haut, le "Imbiss zur Wallfahrt" vous invite à déguster une saucisse de Thuringe. Nun geht es durch das Beerwindental weiter zur "Schillerbuche" auf den Rennsteig. Oben angekommen, lädt der "Imbiss zur Wallfahrt" auf eine Thüringer Bratwurst ein. Frisch gestärkt können Sie nun den Abstecher zum Lutherdenkmal bei Steinbach in Angriff nehmen. Hin und Zurück sind es insgesamt nur 3 Kilometer. Das Denkmal erinnert an die Scheinentführung Martin Luthers am 4. Mai 1521 auf die Wartburg. Dort übersetzte er das Neue Testament in die deutsche Sprache. Über den Lutherweg geht es wieder zurück zur "Schillerbuche". Ein Stück entlang der Straße folgend, kommen Sie am "Glasbachstein" vorbei. Dieser Stein sollte einst nach Weimar transportiert werden, doch unter der Last des Steines zerbrach das Fuhrwerk. Seitdem ist er ein markanter Punkt an der Kreuzung Richtung Winterstein/ Bad Liebenstein und Brotterode. Überqueren Sie nun erneut die Straße, so gelangen Sie wieder auf den Kammweg des Thüringer Waldes, dem Rennsteig. Sicher nutzte auch Luther diesen historischen Grenzweg auf seinen Reisen durch das Thüringer Land. Nach knapp einem Kilometer zweigt linkerhand, ca. 30 m nach der Finnhütte, ein schmaler Weg vom Rennsteig ab. Nach wenigen Metern erreichen Sie nun das "Ehrenmal Glöckner", auch "Klöckler" genannt. Eine Sitzgruppe lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Inschriften auf dem großen Granitfelsen erinnern an die im Ersten Weltkrieg gefallenen Mitglieder des Rennsteigvereins. Nach ihrer Rast steigen Sie nun die letzten Meter zum Glöckner auf. Nehmen Sie Platz auf dem Felsthron, dieser ist umgeben von einem Meer aus Granitblöcken und ein beliebtes Fotomotiv.  Lassen Sie Ihren Blick über das Werratal schweifen, am Horizont können Sie  bereits die Röhn erkennen. Nur schwer kann man sich von diesem schönen Ort loslösen. Nach wenigen Metern haben Sie den Rennsteig wieder erreicht. Die Große Meilerstätte kommt nach ca. 500 Metern, hier heißt es nun auch Abschied nehmen vom Rennsteig. Biegen Sie nun links, Richtung Klinzingshütte ab und gehen Sie durch den Ungeheueren Grund stetig bergab Richtung Ferienhaus Lichtung zu Ihrem Ausgangspunkt "Schützenhaus" zurück.
