Die Tour beginnt auf dem großen Wanderparkplatz am Kulturhaus in Gießübel. Hier können sie sich auf der Infotafel einen Überblick der Tour und weitere Highlights des Ortes verschaffen. Bis zum Einstieg des Skiwanderweges sind es nur ein paar Meter zu Fuß. Sie starten ihre Tour am Rennsteigportal mitten im verschneiten Thüringer Wald. Ihre Tour verläuft vorbei am Kriegerdenkmal bis zur Neubrunn Quelle an der sie eine Rast einlegen und nochmal Kraft für den letzten Anstieg tanken können. Die Tour endet an der Schutzhütte am Hohen Stock direkt auf dem Rennsteigweg. Von hier aus führt der Rennsteigweg nach Neustadt am Rennsteig und über das Schwalbenhaupt mit der Gaststätte zur Triniusbaude nach Massserberg.

Le parcours commence sur le grand parking de randonnée près de la Maison de la Culture à Gießübel. Là, vous pouvez consulter le panneau d'information pour avoir un aperçu du parcours et d'autres points forts du village. Jusqu'au début du chemin de randonnée à ski, il ne reste que quelques mètres à parcourir à pied. Vous commencez votre parcours au portail du Rennsteig en plein cœur de la Forêt de Thuringe enneigée. Votre parcours passe devant le monument aux morts jusqu'à la source de Neubrunn où vous pouvez faire une pause et reprendre des forces pour la dernière montée. Le parcours se termine à l’abri au Hoher Stock situé directement sur le chemin du Rennsteig. De là, le chemin du Rennsteig mène à Neustadt am Rennsteig et via le Schwalbenhaupt avec le restaurant jusqu'à la Triniusbaude à Masserberg.

The route starts at the large hiking car park at the Kulturhaus in Gießübel. Here you can get an overview of the route and other highlights of the village on the information board. It is only a few meters on foot to the start of the ski hiking trail. You start your route at the Rennsteig portal in the middle of the snowy Thuringian Forest. Your route passes the war memorial to the Neubrunn spring where you can take a break and gather strength for the last climb. The route ends at the shelter at Hoher Stock directly on the Rennsteig trail. From here, the Rennsteig leads to Neustadt am Rennsteig and over Schwalbenhaupt with the inn to the Triniusbaude at Masserberg.
