Sie beginnen Ihre Skitour entweder direkt ab dem Parkplatz des Skilifts am Eisenberg (Schmückestraße, Ortslage Schmiedefeld) oder ab dem Parkplatz Kreuzwege (Straße nach Oberhof). Starten Sie direkt in Schmiedefeld, so gelangen Sie über einen Verbindungsweg am Eisenberg vorbei an der zweiten Einstiegsmöglichkeit (Parkplatz Kreuzwege) auf die Runde um den Finsterberg. Von dort aus leitet Sie die Beschilderung und die Loipe Richtung Westen zunächst zum „Mordfleck“ und dann weiter Richtung Schmücke, Suhler Hütte, Schneekopf und Oberhof. Auf dem beschriebenen Stück können beide Stilrichtungen (klassisch und skating) angewandt werden.

Vous commencez votre excursion à ski soit directement depuis le parking du téléski de l'Eisenberg (Schmückestraße, localité Schmiedefeld), soit depuis le parking Kreuzwege (route vers Oberhof). En partant directement de Schmiedefeld, vous atteignez par un chemin de liaison l'Eisenberg, en passant par la deuxième possibilité d'entrée (parking Kreuzwege) pour accéder au circuit du Finsterberg. De là, la signalisation et la piste vous dirigent vers l'ouest d'abord vers le « Mordfleck », puis plus loin vers Schmücke, Suhler Hütte, Schneekopf et Oberhof. Sur cette partie, les deux styles (classique et skating) peuvent être utilisés.

You start your ski tour either directly from the parking lot of the ski lift at Eisenberg (Schmückestraße, Schmiedefeld location) or from the Kreuzwege parking lot (road to Oberhof). If you start directly in Schmiedefeld, you reach the route around the Finsterberg via a connecting path past Eisenberg and the second entry point (Kreuzwege parking lot). From there, the signage and the trail lead you westward first to the 'Mordfleck' and then further towards Schmücke, Suhler Hütte, Schneekopf, and Oberhof. Both classical and skating styles can be used on the described section.
