Am Verlobungstempel vorbei geht die Strecke leicht bergauf bis zur B279. Im Anschluss fahren wir parallel zur Bundesstraße in Richtung Oberweißenbrunn. Nach einem kurzen Anstieg erreicht man die Bank oberhalb des Kalkofenbrunnens. Durch den Wald am Honigschlag erreicht man dann den „Honich-Brönn“. Ein Stück muss man nun dem HOCHRHÖNER Premiumwanderweg folgen, um zur Talstation des Arnsberg II – Skilifts zu gelangen. Die Ruine Osterburg erreicht man mit dem Bike allerdings nur, wenn man sich die Wege mit den Wanderern teilt. Von der Ruine aus hat man einen phantastischen Rundumblick über Bischofsheim und die umliegenden Berge der Rhön. Die teilweise steile und schottrig rutschige Abfahrt bringt den Mountainbiker wieder zum Böschemer Marktplatz zurück.

En passant devant le temple de fiançailles, le parcours monte légèrement jusqu’à la B279. Ensuite, nous roulons parallèlement à la route fédérale en direction de Oberweißebunn. Après une courte montée, vous atteignez un banc au-dessus de la source de Kalkofen. À travers la forêt au Honigschlag, on atteint alors le „Honich-Brönn“. Un certain tronçon doit maintenant être suivi sur le sentier de randonnée premium HOCHRHÖNER pour atteindre la station de départ du téléski Arnsberg II. Cependant, la ruine Osterburg n’est accessible à vélo que si vous partagez les chemins avec les randonneurs. Past the engagement temple, the route climbs gently up to the B279. Then, we ride parallel to the federal road towards Oberweißenbrunn. After a short climb, you reach the bench above the Kalkofenbrunnen. In der Rhön soll deshalb nur auf dafür ausgewiesenen Wegen und Flächen Natursport bei Tageslicht betrieben werden. * In der Rhön werden die Wege gemeinsam genutzt. Bei gegenseitiger Rücksichtnahme muss sich niemand ärgern. * Auf Trails und Wegen fährt es sich am Besten. Quer durch die Wiese - macht man nicht! * Nimm die Erinnerung mit und deinen Müll! * Fahre nie schneller, als du anhalten kannst. * Nachts (und im Winter) gehört der Wald den Tieren. Wir empfehlen euch die Mountainbike Rundwege nur in der Sommersaison zu befahren (Mai-Oktober).
