Ihre Wandertour beginnt am Naturparkzentrum Fürstenhagen. Das Zentrum beschäftigt sich mit der Flora und Fauna des Naturparks Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal. Sie laufen entlang der stillgelegten Bahnstrecke der Kanonenbahn am ehemaligen Bahnhof Fürstenhagen vorbei in Richtung Landstraße. Eine gemeinsame Nutzung der Straße mit dem Autoverkehr ist bis nach Kalteneber erforderlich. Nach der Ortsdurchquerung zweigt die Landstraße Richtung Norden auf den Kanonenbahnradweg ab. Entlang der ehemaligen Bahnstrecke wandern Sie durch das Wolfental und Pferdebachtal in Richtung Heilbad Heiligenstadt bergab. Ziel Ihrer Wanderung ist der Naturerholungspark Neun Brunnen, wo eine gemütliche Rast am Teich möglich ist.

Your hiking route begins at the Nature Park Center Fürstenhagen. The center is dedicated to the flora and fauna of the Eichsfeld-Hainich-Werratal Nature Park. You walk along the disused railway line of the Kanonenbahn past the former Fürstenhagen station towards the main road. Shared use of the road with car traffic is required up to Kalteneber. After passing through the town, the main road branches north onto the Kanonenbahn cycle path. Along the former railway line, you hike through the Wolfental and Pferdebachtal descending towards Heilbad Heiligenstadt. The destination of your hike is the Nature Recreation Park Neun Brunnen, where a cozy rest by the pond is possible.
