Ihre Wandertour führt Sie durch den Heiligenstädter Stadtwald. Im Biotop können Sie seltene Pflanzen und Bäume bestaunen.  Sie starten an der Klöppelsklus. Dieses historische Gebäude wurde als Umspannstation für Pferdewagenzüge gebaut und wird heute als Kapelle genutzt. Der Weg führt Sie Richtung Biotop, über den Postreiterweg und mit einem kurzen steilen Anstieg zur Elisabethhöhe. Hier bietet sich die Gelegenheit für ein Picknick. An der Maienwand genießen Sie den Ausblick vom oberen Eichsfeld-Plateau über den Steilhang hinaus. Hier beginnt auch der Urwaldpfad, auf dem Sie Ihren Rückweg zur Klöppelsklus antreten. Der Pfad führt Sie durch den unberührten Buchen-Urwald, der im Unterwuchs sogar aus der Europäischen Eibe besteht. Eine echte Seltenheit in Deutschland!

Votre balade à pied vous mène à travers la forêt urbaine de Heiligenstadt. Vous pourrez admirer dans le biotope des plantes et arbres rares.  Vous commencez au Klöppelsklus. Ce bâtiment historique a été construit comme station de relais pour les attelages de chevaux et sert aujourd’hui de chapelle. Le chemin vous conduit vers le biotope, par le Postreiterweg et avec une courte montée raide jusqu’à l’Elisabethhöhe. C’est l’occasion idéale pour un pique-nique. À la Maienwand, vous profitez de la vue depuis le haut du plateau d’Eichsfeld au-dessus de la pente abrupte. C’est aussi le début du sentier de la forêt primaire, où vous entamez votre retour vers Klöppelsklus. Le sentier vous mène à travers une forêt primaire de hêtres intacte, dont le sous-bois comporte même du if européen. Une vraie rareté en Allemagne !

Your hiking route takes you through the Heiligenstadt city forest. In the biotope, you can admire rare plants and trees.  You start at Klöppelsklus. This historic building was built as a relay station for horse-drawn wagons and is now used as a chapel. The path leads you towards the biotope, along the Postrider Path and with a short steep ascent to Elisabeth Height. Here, there is an opportunity for a picnic. At Maienwand, enjoy the view from the upper Eichsfeld plateau over the steep slope. Here also begins the Primeval Forest Path, on which you start your return to Klöppelsklus. The path takes you through the untouched beech primeval forest, whose undergrowth even includes European yew. A true rarity in Germany!
