Die Tour beginnt an der Thüringer Meer Touristinformation in Saalburg-Ebersdorf (OT Saalburg) und dem unweit befindlichen Schiffsanlager von Saalburg, direkt am Thüringer Meer. Hier startet dein kleines Abenteuer mit einer besonderen Etappe: Statt loszulaufen, gehst du an Bord der Fahrgastschifffahrt. Während das Schiff vom Ufer ablegt, heißt es: zurücklehnen, durchatmen und genießen. Die leichte Brise, das Glitzern der Wellen und der Blick auf die bewaldeten Hänge ringsum machen diese Passage zum ersten Höhepunkt des Tages. Schon nach wenigen Minuten breitet sich Urlaubsstimmung aus – so fühlt sich Naturauszeit an. Nach rund 60-90 Minuten legt das Schiff in Saaldorf an. Hier beginnt die Wanderung zurück nach Saalburg – abwechslungsreich, naturnah und voller schöner Momente. Zunächst führt dich der Weg durch offene Wiesen und entlang sanft geschwungener Hänge in Richtung Heinrichstein. Ein kurzer Anstieg lohnt sich: Vom Felsplateau aus öffnet sich ein weiter Blick über das Thüringer Meer auf die Saaleschleife– Wasser, dichter Wald und die Silhouetten der umliegenden Höhenzüge zeichnen ein Bild wie aus dem Wanderkatalog. Wer möchte, gönnt sich hier die erste Pause und lässt die Seele baumeln. Weiter geht es auf schmalen Waldpfaden, die angenehm kühl und duftend unter den Füßen liegen. Bald erreichst du über einen Talabstieg den Aussichtspunkt Seeblick (Schiffsanlegestelle Heinrichstein) – ein kleiner, feiner Platz mit Sitzbank und freier Sicht auf das südliche Ufer. Hier spürt man, wie nah Wasser und Wald sich begegnen, wie harmonisch sich Natur und Mensch ergänzen. Nach weiteren Gehminuten im Wald und am Ufer des Thüringer Meers erreichst du die Ruhebene – ein Uferplateau der Saale auf dem sich die ehemalige Ruhmühle befand (heute überfluteter Bereich und neu Aufgebaut im OT Ebersdorf). Von hier schlängelt sich der Weg bergauf bis zum Blaupunkt, einem markanten Aussichtspunkt am dem sich an sonnigen Tagen das Blau des Himmels als Blau des Wassers spiegelt. Jetzt verändert sich die Landschaft: durch ein idyllisches Tal mit ehemaliger Hammermühle wird der Weg breiter, du wanderst aus dem Tal hinaus durch Zoppoten, ein verträumtes aber überraschend lebendiges Dorf im Herzen von Saalburg-Ebersdorf. Kurz darauf erreichst du das Luchsloch – ein sagenumwobener Ort, der geheimnisvoll im Schatten der Bäume liegt und seinen Namen überlieferungen nach den unterhalb befindlichen alten Luchslöchern im Berghang verdankt. Ob es hier wirklich einst Luchse gab? Vielleicht. Sicher ist: Die Atmosphäre hier hat etwas Atemberaubendes. Wer still ist, hört nur Wind, Vögel und vielleicht ein Rascheln im Unterholz und erfährt einen weiten Blick ins Saaletal. Der nächste Abschnitt führt dich sanft ansteigend meist mit Blick aufs Thüringer Meer nach Pöritzsch. Von hier genießt du noch einmal weite Blicke über das Thüringer Schiefergebirge – ideal für ein paar letzte Fotos, bevor du den finalen Abschnitt nach Saalburg in Angriff nimmst. Du wanderst nun über einen Wiesenpfad zurück Richtung See. Mit jedem Schritt näherst du dich dem Ziel – und irgendwann öffnet sich erneut der Blick auf das Wasser und den Orstteil Saalburg am Sonnenhang des Thüringer Meers. Der Kreis schließt sich dort, wo alles begonnen hat: am Schiffsanleger und der Thüringer Meer Touristinformation von Saalburg-Ebersdorf.

Au bout de quelques minutes, une ambiance de vacances s’installe – voici ce qu’est une pause nature. Après environ 60-90 minutes, le bateau accoste à Saaldorf. Ici commence la randonnée de retour à Saalburg – variée, proche de la nature et pleine de beaux moments. Le chemin vous mène d’abord à travers des prairies ouvertes et le long de pentes doucement ondulées en direction du Heinrichstein. Une courte montée vaut la peine : du plateau rocheux s’ouvre une large vue sur la mer de Thuringe et la boucle de la Saale – eau, forêt dense et silhouettes des chaînes de collines environnantes composent une image digne d’un catalogue de randonnée. Ceux qui veulent peuvent faire une première pause ici et laisser leur âme vagabonder. La suite se fait sur des sentiers forestiers étroits, agréablement frais et parfumés sous les pieds. Bientôt, vous atteignez par une descente dans la vallée le point de vue Seeblick (arrêt du bateau Heinrichstein) – un petit endroit charmant avec un banc et une vue libre sur la rive sud. Ici on sent à quel point l’eau et la forêt se rencontrent, comment la nature et l’homme se complètent harmonieusement. Après quelques minutes de marche dans la forêt et au bord de la mer de Thuringe, vous atteignez la ruche – un plateau au bord de la Saale où se trouvait autrefois le moulin à eau Ruhmühle (zone inondée aujourd’hui et reconstruite dans le quartier Ebersdorf). De là, le chemin serpente en montée jusqu’au Blaupunkt, un point de vue remarquable où, par temps ensoleillé, le bleu du ciel se reflète dans la mer. Le paysage change : à travers une vallée idyllique avec l’ancien moulin à marteau, le chemin s’élargit, vous sortez de la vallée en traversant Zoppoten, un village de rêve mais surprenamment vivant au cœur de Saalburg-Ebersdorf. Bientôt, vous arrivez au Luchsloch – un lieu légendaire, mystérieux à l’ombre des arbres et dont le nom ferait référence selon les traditions aux anciennes cavernes de lynx sous la pente de la montagne. Y avait-il vraiment autrefois des lynx ici ? Peut-être. Ce qui est certain, c’est que l’atmosphère est spectaculaire. Ceux qui restent silencieux n’entendent que le vent, les oiseaux et peut-être un bruissement dans les sous-bois, et profitent d’une vaste vue sur la vallée de la Saale. La prochaine étape vous mène doucement en montée, souvent avec vue sur la mer de Thuringe, jusqu’à Pöritzsch. De là, vous pouvez encore profiter d’une large vue sur le massif schisteux de Thuringe – idéal pour quelques dernières photos avant d’entamer la dernière section vers Saalburg. Vous marchez maintenant sur un chemin herbeux en direction du lac. À chaque pas, vous vous approchez de votre but – et bientôt la vue sur l’eau et le quartier de Saalburg, sur le versant ensoleillé de la mer de Thuringe, s’ouvre à nouveau. Here your little adventure begins with a special stage: instead of starting to walk, you board the passenger shipping. While the boat leaves the shore, the motto is: lean back, take a deep breath, and enjoy. The light breeze, the sparkling waves, and the view of the wooded slopes all around make this passage the first highlight of the day. After just a few minutes, vacation mood spreads – this is what a nature time-out feels like. After about 60-90 minutes, the boat docks at Saaldorf. Here begins the hike back to Saalburg – varied, close to nature, and full of beautiful moments. First, the path takes you through open meadows and along gently curved slopes toward Heinrichstein. A short climb is worthwhile: From the rocky plateau, a wide view opens over the Thuringian Sea onto the Saale loop – water, dense forest, and the silhouettes of the surrounding heights paint a picture like from a hiking catalog. Those who want can take the first break here and let their soul dangle. It continues on narrow forest paths, pleasantly cool and fragrant underfoot. Soon you reach a descent into the valley to the Seeblick viewpoint (Heinrichstein boat landing) – a small, fine spot with a bench and an open view of the southern shore. Here one feels how close water and forest meet, how harmoniously nature and humans complement each other. After further walking minutes in the forest and on the shore of the Thuringian Sea, you reach the resting plateau – a riverside plateau of the Saale where the former Ruhmühle was located (today a flooded area and newly rebuilt in the Ebersdorf district). From here, the path winds uphill to the Blaupunkt, a striking viewpoint where on sunny days the blue of the sky is reflected as the blue of the water. Now the landscape changes: through an idyllic valley with a former hammer mill, the path widens, and you hike out of the valley through Zoppoten, a dreamy but surprisingly lively village in the heart of Saalburg-Ebersdorf. Shortly thereafter, you reach the Luchsloch – a legendary place that lies mysteriously in the shadow of the trees and is said to owe its name to the old lynx holes located below in the mountain slope. Were there really lynxes here once? Maybe. What is certain: the atmosphere here is breathtaking. Those who are still hear only wind, birds, and perhaps rustling in the undergrowth and experience a wide view into the Saale valley. The next section gently ascends mostly with views of the Thuringian Sea to Pöritzsch. From here you enjoy wide views over the Thuringian Slate Mountains – ideal for a few last photos before you tackle the final section back to Saalburg. You now walk back to the lake on a meadow path. With every step, you approach the goal – and at some point, the view opens again over the water and the Saalburg district on the sunny slope of the Thuringian Sea.
