La randonnée se déroule en grande partie dans la vallée et à travers la forêt, offrant ainsi une fraîcheur agréable surtout en été. Le parcours principal va de Jocketa à Plauen jusqu'au quartier de Zwoschwitz. Un tronçon particulièrement beau traverse la vallée romantique de Nymphental, dont l'entrée est marquée par la Chaire du diable, un rocher vert distinctif. Accompagné par le bruit gai du ruisseau Kalter Bach, on arrive après quelques kilomètres déjà dans la zone de Plauen, au village de Jößnitz. Situé idylliquement en lisière de forêt, le moulin Pfaffenmühle, vieux de plus de 140 ans, est un lieu de repos apprécié des randonneurs. Vous pouvez maintenant décider de faire une excursion à Plauen, dont la vieille ville historique offre beaucoup à découvrir : l'église Saint-Jean, la vieille mairie, la maison du malt, l'usine des fils, le musée Vogtland et la galerie e.o.plauen - musée d'art Erich Ohser, pour ne citer que quelques exemples. Ou vous pouvez suivre les traces du dragon dans le proche quartier des moulins vogtlandais. La grotte du dragon à Syrau, la seule grotte touristique de Saxe, offre beaucoup : d'abord descendre de nombreuses marches, ressentir la roche, traverser des passages étroits et entendre partout le goutte-à-goutte de l'eau. Ici, le dragon Justus garde son royaume souterrain caché avec des formations impressionnantes de stalactites, des lacs cristallins, des formations d'argile souple et des rideaux de sinter bizarres. Et la dernière moulin à vent du Vogtland se trouve également à Syrau, haut perché sur le château du dragon. En tant que musée technique, son intérieur renseigne sur le travail difficile du meunier et sur le fonctionnement du moulin. Le mécanisme de broyage est un chef-d'œuvre de l'architecture de l'époque avec des dimensions immenses. Les ailes du moulin pouvaient être toujours orientées face au vent grâce à une construction rotative, car il s'agit d'un moulin à vent hollandais en tour. The hike runs mostly in the valley and through the forest, providing a particularly pleasant coolness in summer. The main route runs from Jocketa via Plauen to the Zwoschwitz district. A particularly beautiful section leads through the romantically wild Nymph Valley, whose entrance is formed by the Devil's Pulpit, a striking greenstone rock. Accompanied by the cheerful babbling of the Kalte Bach, one arrives after a few kilometres already on Plauen soil in the village of Jößnitz. Idyllically located at the edge of the forest, the more than 140-year-old Pfaffenmühle is a popular rest stop for hikers. Now you can decide on a trip to Plauen, where there is much to discover in the historic old town: St. John's Church, the Old Town Hall, the Malzhaus, the Thread Factory, the Vogtland Museum, and the Galerie e.o.plauen - Erich Ohser Art Museum, to name just a few. Or you can follow dragon tracks into the nearby Vogtland Mill Quarter. The Dragon's Cave Syrau, Saxony's only show cave, has a lot to offer: first descending many steps, feeling the rock, passing through narrow passages, and hearing water dripping everywhere. Here the dragon Justus guards his underground hidden realm with impressive stalactite formations, crystal-clear lakes, soft clay formations, and bizarre sinter curtains. Also, the last windmill of the Vogtland is to be found in Syrau, high above on the Dragon Castle. As a technical museum, its interior provides information about the miller's hard work and the functioning of a mill. The grinding mechanism is a masterpiece of the construction art of the time with immense dimensions. The wings of the mill could always be turned into the wind by a rotatable construction because it is a tower Dutch mill. Die Wanderung verläuft zum gr0ßen Teil im Tal und durch Wald und bietet dadurch besonders im Sommer eine  angenehme Kühle. Die Hauptroute verläuft von Jocketa über Plauen bis in den Ortsteil Zwoschwitz. Ein besonders schöner Abschnitt führt durch das wildromantische Nymphental, dessen Eingang die Teufelskanzel, ein markanter Grünsteinfelsen, bildet. Begleitet vom munteren Plätschern des Kaltenbaches, ist man nach wenigen Kilometern bereits auf Plauener Flur im Örtchen Jößnitz angekommen.  Idyllisch am Waldrand gelegen, ist die über 140 Jahre alte Pfaffenmühle ein beliebter Rastplatz für Wanderer.  Nun kann man sich für einen Trip nach Plauen entscheiden, in deren historischer Altstadt es viel zu entdecken gibt: die St. Johanniskirche, das Alte Rathaus, das Malzhaus, die Fabrik der Fäden, das Vogtlandmuseum und die Galerie e.o.plauen - Kunstmuseum Erich Ohser, um nur einiges zu nennen. Oder man begibt sich auf Drachenspuren in das nahe liegende Vogtländische Mühlenviertel. Die Drachenhöhle Syrau, die einzige Schauhöhle Sachsens hat einiges zu bieten: zunächst viele Stufen hinab steigen, den Fels spüren, schmale Gänge durchqueren und überall das Wasser tropfen hören. Hier bewacht Drache Justus sein unterirdisch verborgenes Reich mit beeindruckenden Tropfsteingebilden, kristallklaren Seen, weiche Lehmformationen und bizarren Sintervorhängen.  Und auch die letzte Windmühle des Vogtlandes ist in  Syrau hoch oben auf der Drachenburg zu finden. Als technisches Museum gibt ihr Innenleben  Auskunft über die schwere Arbeit des Müllers und die Funktionsweise einer Mühle. Das Mahlwerk ist eine Meisterleistung der damaligen Baukunst mit immensen Abmessungen. Die Flügel der Mühle konnten mittels einer drehbaren Konstruktion immer in den Wind gedreht werden, da es sich um eine Turmholländermühle handelt.
