All areas relevant for testing meet the quality criteria of the label "Accessibility certified - accessible for people with walking disabilities and for wheelchair users".
Some information on accessibility are listed below. For detailed information please see the evaluation report.
* There are three marked parking space(s) for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm).
* The path from the parking spaace and station to the entrance is 600 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 6 % over a distance of 10 m.
* The object is infinitely accessible.
* All evaluated rooms and facilities available to the guests are infinitely accessible via an elevator and an inclined platform lift.
* The platform of the inclined platform lift to the open yard is 250 cm x 250cm.
* The elevator cabin measures 110 cm x 141 cm.
* All evaluated passageways/doors available to the guests are at least 90 cm wide.
* The cash desk is 115 cm high. There is another, equivalent communication possibility while in a sitting position.
* External paths areat least 150 m wideand easy to walk on and drive on and have a maximum longitudinal gradient of up to 6 %.
* There is seating available.
* The exhibits are predominately visible when seated.
* Guided tours for people with walking impairments and wheelchair users are offered. A reservation in advance is necessary.
* The entire route of the guided tour is infinitely vari-able for wheelchair users.

* The manoeuvring spaces are:

Alle prüfrelevanten Bereiche erfüllen die Qualitätskriterien der Kennzeichnung „Barrierefreiheit geprüft – barrierefrei für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung und für Rollstuhlfahrer“.
Einige Hinweise zur Barrierefreiheit haben wir nachfolgend zusammengestellt. Detaillierte Angaben finden Sie im Prüfbericht.
* Es gibt drei gekennzeichnete Parkplätze für Menschen mit Behinderung gegenüber dem Eingang am Rande des Domplatzes (Stellplatzgröße: 350 cm x 500 cm, Entfernung zum Eingang: 200 m). Die Stellplätze 38-41 im Hof können auf Anfrage von Menschen mit Behinderung genutzt werden.
* In 100 m Entfernung befindet sich die Straßenbahnhaltestelle Domplatz (Linie 2 / 3 / 6).
* Der Weg von der Straßenbahn und vom Parkplatz zum Eingang ist leicht begeh- und befahrbar und hat eine maximale Längsneigung von 6 % über eine Strecke von 10 m.
* Das Objekt ist stufenlos zugänglich.
* Alle für den Gast nutzbaren und erhobenen Räume und Einrichtungen sind stufenlos oder über einen Aufzug oder einen Treppenplattformlift zugänglich.
* Die Aufzugkabine im Gebäude ist 110 cm x 141 cm groß.
* Die Plattform des Treppenliftes zum Freihof ist 80 cm x 125 cm groß.
* Alle für den Gast nutzbaren und erhobenen Türen/Durchgänge sind mindestens 90 cm breit.
* Der Kassentresen ist 115 cm hoch. Es ist eine andere, gleichwertige Kommunikationsmöglichkeit im Sitzen vorhanden.
* Außenwege sind mindestens 150 cm breit und leicht begeh- und befahrbar und haben eine maximale Längsneigungen von bis zu 6 %.
* Es sind Sitzgelegenheiten vorhanden.
* Die Exponate sind überwiegend im Sitzen sichtbar.
* Es werden Führungen für Menschen mit Gehbehinderung und Rollstuhlfahrer angeboten. Es ist eine Voranmeldung notwendig.
* Die gesamte Route der Führung ist für Rollstuhlfahrer stufenlos befahrbar.
ÖFFENTLICHES WC FÜR MENSCHEN MIT BEHINDERUNG (UNTERGESCHOSS)
* Die WC-Tür ist mit einem Schlüssel zu öffnen.
* Die Bewegungsflächen betragen:
vor/hinter der Tür, vor dem WC und vor dem Waschbecken mindestens 150 cm x 150 cm;
links neben dem WC 83 cm x 70 cm und rechts neben dem WC 100 cm x 70 cm.
* Es sind links und rechts vom WC Haltegriffe vorhanden. Die Haltegriffe sind hochklappbar.
* Das Waschbecken ist unterfahrbar.
* Der Spiegel ist im Stehen und Sitzen einsehbar.
* Es ist ein Alarmauslöser vorhanden. |
