Der Ortsteil Hamma der Landgemeinde Stadt Heringen/Helme liegt ruhig und idyllisch in der Goldenen Aue, am Rande des Naturparks Kyffhäuser. Seit 1143 ist das Dorf urkundlich belegt und gehörte ursprünglich zur Grafschaft Hohenstein, wurde aber wie andere Orte auch mehrfach unter den Grafen verschenkt oder verschachert. Die Sankt-Trinitatis-Kirche und die denkmalgeschützte ehemalige Mühle, die heute ein Café und Ferienwohnungen beherbergt, gehören zu den ältesten Gebäuden der kleinen Ortschaft. Wanderer können von Hamma aus direkt in die Natur starten - gern auch ohne Schuhe auf dem Barfußpfad des Naturparks Kyffhäuser am Hamma-Bach.

The Hamma district of the rural municipality of Heringen/Helme lies in a quiet and idyllic location in the Golden Aue, on the edge of the Kyffhäuser Nature Park. The village has been documented since 1143 and originally belonged to the county of Hohenstein, but like other places it was given away or bartered away several times under the counts. St. Trinity's Church and the listed former mill, which now houses a café and holiday apartments, are among the oldest buildings in the small village. Hikers can start from Hamma directly into nature - gladly without shoes on the barefoot path of the Kyffhäuser Nature Park at the Hamma brook.

Le quartier de Hamma de la commune rurale de Heringen/Helme est situé de manière calme et idyllique dans la Goldene Aue, en bordure du parc naturel du Kyffhäuser. Le village est attesté par des documents depuis 1143 et appartenait à l'origine au comté de Hohenstein, mais comme d'autres localités, il a été plusieurs fois donné ou bazardé sous les comtes. L'église Sankt-Trinitatis et l'ancien moulin classé monument historique, qui abrite aujourd'hui un café et des appartements de vacances, comptent parmi les plus anciens bâtiments de la petite localité. Les randonneurs peuvent partir de Hamma directement dans la nature - volontiers sans chaussures sur le sentier pieds nus du parc naturel du Kyffhäuser au bord du ruisseau Hamma.
